PageStream Universal Filter update V2.2
The free PageStream Universal Filter for loading many picture formats
is now available as version 2.2. In addition to some smaller fixes the
loading speed of TIFF images has been sped up and support for MacBinary
files has been added. More information can be found at the title link.

Linux: Debian 2.2r4 released
Debian released the latest version of their linux distribution.
PowerPC specific port information and also a port for Motorola
680x0 based machines is available.

DTP: PageStream 4.1
After about two years it is done - there is a new version of
PageStream. The
most significant new feature is the integrated table editor. This
was originally planned as an add-on but because of the many requests
it was decided to make it an integral part of the package. Further
functions are mail merge, control over compression in PDF files,
text inset function, object transformation and a higher speed.

Route planner: AmiATLAS 6 available
Although the availability of AmiATLAS 6, the multimedia route planner, was planned
for the 15th November 2001 (we reported),
it is already finished. Users of version 5 receive a cheaper update.
