SimpleMail Alpha 0.10
Version 0.10 of SimpleMail was released. Changes since last version:
  • configurable headers in the reading window,
  • Message/rfc822 content type support,
  • encrypted mails can be read now (pgp 2.6.x),
  • enhanced filter,
  • automatic linefeed in the writing window,
  • other smaller enhancements.

Event: Saku 2001 Displayed New Amiga Products
Saku 2001, the biggest Amiga event in Finland and organized by the Finnish Amiga Users Group, gathered about 300 visitors around Finland on September 1st. The venue was organized completely by volunteers and it proved that there is still a dedicated following of the Amiga in Finland. more ... (ps)

Bowman's Cameron to Join Tao Board of Directors

Reading, England, 10th September, 2001 -- Tao Group, Ltd. announced today that it has received an equity investment of approximately $18 million from a team of investors led by Bowman Capital Partners. Tao has developed intent®, a binary portable, language independent, high performance, multimedia platform that is now used by many of the world's leading OEMs in their client products for home and mobile networks.

Hazel Cameron, general partner at Bowman and who heads up the firm's European operations, will serve on Tao's board of directors.«
