December 2000 Lauri Ahonen has released the beta version 2.12 of "SecondSpin". This is a tool to convert normal audio CD tracks into MPEG audio files (layers 1, 2 or 3). This card shall be released within already this year, at first for the clock port of the A1200 and later in addition for ZorroII (Amiga 3000/4000). It offers two 16bit channels each for in- and output with maximum 96 kHz and an expansion port which can be used for a MPEG decoder. The website for the card shall go online soon. more ...
