SecondSpin v2.12 beta
On 02. December 2000 Lauri Ahonen has released the beta version 2.12 of "SecondSpin". This is a tool to convert normal audio CD tracks into MPEG audio files (layers 1, 2 or 3). Additionally more formats like AIFF and WAV are supported. A modified version of LAME v3.87+ is needed for MPEG encoding. more ...

Sound card "Martina"
Michal Kluczewski has released some information about the upcoming sound card "Martina" with the permission of the developer. This card shall be released within already this year, at first for the clock port of the A1200 and later in addition for ZorroII (Amiga 3000/4000). It offers two 16bit channels each for in- and output with maximum 96 kHz and an expansion port which can be used for a MPEG decoder. The website for the card shall go online soon. more ...
