File manager: MCAmiga 0.4
Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow continues playing with the video unit of the FreePascal compiler which he ported and currently focusing on how to resize the window. As a result he has released the new version 0.4 of the file manager MCAmiga which is available for all Amiag systems.

Windows: Software synthesizer "AmigaKlang" generates samples for MOD files
The software synthesizer 'AmigaKlang' generates samples which can be used in MOD tracks, typical for the Amiga. The samples can be saved as binary files or directly written in existing MOD files but also be exported as Amiga code which is very memory saving because the samples are only generated when they were started (Example on Soundcloud, 27 KB).

Tutorial: Using FS-UAE on Linux with real MIDI hardware
Warren Vercueil has published an illustrated, English-language tutorial (PDF) which explains the usage of real MIDI hardware from inside the Amiga emulator FS-UAE. He has used the MIDI application BarsnPipes but his setup should also work with different applications.

PDF viewer: RNOPDF for Amigas without graphics board
The first version of the PDF viewer RNOPDF, written with Hollywood, was released one and a half year ago for AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS for Amigas equipped with a graphics board. Now also a version for ESC and AGA Amigas is available.
