20 years of AmiKit: The AmiKit Museum is now open
This year, the popular AmiKit celebrates its 20th birthday. The first coverage of the project appeared on amiga-news.de on 14 July 2005 ("Emulation: First Preview of the AmiKit Complete System"). The AmiKit Museum has now been set up as a thank you to Amikit's loyal fans. All Windows installers for the Workbench distribution - from AmiKit 1 to 11 - can be downloaded and tested free of charge, all fully functional. It's an interesting resource for all computer archaeologists, enthusiasts and collectors.

The demoscene has been acknowledged as an intangible cultural heritage in Sweden.
