MorphOS: E-Mail client Iris, beta version 68
Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek's "Iris" is supposed to become the standard mail program for MorphOS. It supports IMAP and can read and create HTML mails. Among others this latest beta version now remembers used e-mail addresses and autocompletes them in the address line.
Meanwhile Iris requires MorphOS 3.12. If you want to provide feedback then please use the corresponding discussion on MorphZone.

Playable demo version and preorder: Black Dawn Rebirth
The games of the der Black Dawn series are typical sind Dungeon Crawler similar to Dungeon Master. For the latest title "Black Dawn Rebirth" now a playable demo version is available. Additional the game which will be released on 1. December can be preordered: The download version is available for 13 Canadian Dollar (about 9 EUR) and an edition provided on six disks and printed manual in a paper box is available for 60 CAD (41 EUR).

Web browser: IBrowse 2.5.1
An update for the web browser IBrowse has been released which fixes some minor problems introduced with version 2.5. Among others now also a native Javascript library is available for MorphOS.

Crowdfunding: Updated 68k back-end for GCC
Currently the Gnu Compiler Collection (GCC) comverts the back-ends - this is the part of the compiler which creates the specific CPU code - to a new model (technical details in GCC-Wiki). The support for the old back-end model will be discontinued soon. This would mean that GCC 11, probably released in 2021, will not provide support for the m68k architecture.
