And the developer explained: "Dumpster is a new way of destroying and re-using JIT instruction caches in Emu68. Instead of throwing them away right after cache flush, they are reused later if the memory of the JIT block has not changed. The effect is visible here - macOS is constantly flushing CPU instruction cache, also the JIT cache of Emu68. With dumpster on, the boot time of macOS decreases drastically. The effect is even more pronounced on macOS 7.5. This is a Work-In-Progress - there are still few things to do before it is going public."
