Developer tool: Iff2Bpl converts ILBM files

Hardware project: Parallel port sampler "Amiga Stereo Audio Digitizer 1.3"

Floppy disk images: Disc Image Manager V1.48.1 for Linux, macOS and Windows
Gerald J Holdsworth's Disc Image Manager is an application used to load a retro disc image, read the catalogue and output any required files. AmiBlitz: AmiBlitz game template North 1.00
Sami Vehmaa's 'North' is an engine developed with AmiBlitz 3, in which you control a character that walks in an isometric view through a winter landscape. Collision detection or even real gameplay are not yet implemented, but there is a level editor. MorphOS: openssl3.library update for MorphOS 3.19
Press release: A new version of MorphOS OpenSSL3 library has been released. This version includes fixes for two minor security vulnerabilities: CVE-2024-9143 and CVE-2024-13176. More importantly, it adds functionality enabling support for QUIC protocol, allowing applications to implement the latest version of the hypertext transfer protocol (i.e. HTTP/3).
While neither the vulnerabilities fixed, nor the new features added are absolutely necessary, you can install this version of openssl3.library to benefit from the improvements already with MorphOS 3.19: Download
To install it, copy the file to MOSSYS:Libs and reboot.

Preview video: Breakout clone Freak-Out
Michael Kafke already presented a preview version of his breakout clone "Freak-Out" at the Amiga Ruhrpott Convention (ARC) in Germany in 2023 (amiga-news.de reported). Now he shows in a new preview video the current state of his game, which is to run on an Amiga 500 and should offer 100 levels, 64-colour background graphics and a convenient level editor. He hopes to release the game on the Amiga40 in autumn 2025.
