Event: AmiWest 2025 in Sacramento, USA (1./2. November)
Press release: "Starting on November 1st, join the Sacramento Amiga Computer Club in celebrating 40 years of Amiga Computing at AmiWest. AmiWest is the premier North American Amiga show, operating continuously since 1998.
In 2025, given the significant global events surrounding the AMIGA/40th anniversary in Silicon Valley and the Amiga 40th anniversary in Germany, the AmiWest show is expected to be a more laid-back event. We will focus on the community aspect of AmiWest, with an emphasis on exhibitors and attendees. Expect the usual major features: the raffle, live stream, game competition, and Saturday night banquet.
We have also been contacted by Carl Sassenrath, who is preparing a special presentation on the history of the Amiga to deliver at the show. Thank you, Carl!
New for this year, the banquet will be held off-site at a local burgers and brews location, providing attendees with a new experience. In place of a featured banquet speaker, we will let the attendees tell their own stories. It will be an opportunity to learn about the impact of the past 40 years of Amiga Computers on the lives of others and share your own experiences.
Registrations are now open for the hotel and the banquet, so please submit your registrations promptly to ensure adequate planning." (snx)
