Beta versions: ScummVM update for WarpOS & AmigaOS 4, RetroArch for AROS/64 Bit
Steffen Häuser's current beta versions of his ScummVM and RetroArch ports are available to interested parties for testing, as usual, by donating to his PayPal account tirionareonwe@gmail.com. He writes (translation):

"I recently created a few new things:
  • A ScummVM 3.0.0git (i.e., latest GitHub status) for AmigaOS 4 (currently only software rendering, no 3DHW) and one for WarpOS on the same version (also without 3DHW)
  • A port of RetroArch for 64-bit AROS (not all cores recompiled yet, but quite a few of them); whether there will also be a port for 32-bit AROS later depends a little on whether 32-bit AROS is of any interest to AROS users at all (I was told that 64-bit is more interesting, so I did that first).
  • I'll see if I can get ScummVM recompiled on AROS, but no guarantees. For the AmigaOS 4 version, I definitely want to see if it still works with 3DHW.
These are all still beta versions, so no releases yet.

Oh yes – I ran RetroArch cores with high CPU requirements in a comparison test 'AmigaOne x5000 vs. AROS/64-bit'. The x5000 ran at about the same level as it did on an i5 with AROS/64 Bit. The sound was a little 'cleaner' on the Sega x32 on the AmigaOne (no interference; there was slight interference with AROS, but faster cores ran without interference), but the pure fps on the i5 were minimally higher."
