WHDLoad: New packages until 26.04.2014

Elbox: Mediator1200/4000 and FastATA 4000 available again, driver updates
According to Elbox, about at the end of May the PCI-busboards Mediator 1200TX and 4000Di as well as the IDE-controller FastATA 4000 (inclusive CF-/SATA-adapter) will be available. The announced Turboflyer 530 will be available at the end of June 2014.
Besides, there is an update of the pci.library, which allows Radeon graphic boards with 2x128 MB RAM to use additional Zorro III-boards. Another update was released for the FastATA 1200 driver. CF-cards, which are used in the NO_INT-mode, now are much faster.

Arcade game: Timebomb (Final Release)
In Timebomb you have to collect as many bombs as possible before the time runs out. Each field can only be used one time before it vanishes but the player can move a row to the left or to the right.
This update is called "Final Release" because it fixes all known and reported bugs. Additionally, a brief tutorial was added into the game.
Timebomb requires an Amiga with 512 KB vitual memory. Computer with at least one Megabyte virtual memory can show and play additional graphics and sound effects. The game can also be played from harddrive which requires an assign timebomb:.

New photographs of AGA-Flickerfixer ScanJuggler XAGA
In Hungary, for some time a Flickerfixer for AGA-Amigas has been developed. Now some new photopgraphs of the hardware have been published. Additionally there are some new information.
The photograph with the "Twisted Pair"-cable with RJ45-plugs were chosen to avoid signal noise. Despite the rather big sockets, according to the developer the Scanjuggler fits in an Amiga 1200-case. Is is also supposed to be used together with a Mediator-busboard inclusive keyboard adapter. The version for the A4000 can be used together with Zorro-boards.
Normally - mere digital or analog video output - only two of the three cables (analog video output, digital video output, DDC/Power) are required. And if you do not want to have a RJ45-plug, then you can order a version with ribbon cable - the RJ45-modules are only pinned into the Flickerfixer.
Additional to the DVI-output, further modules are planned, e.g. VGA and HDMI. The board for HDMI module would require to remove existing RF-modulators.
Recently the developer was having problems with the used video-clock-generator. In new prototypes (which are not pictured so far) the chip was put on a separate module to stop being depending on a certain model.

Old Amiga graphic works by Andy Warhol
In 1985 the Pop Art legend Andy Warhol was engaged by Commodore to create a picture of the singer Debbie Harry live on stage with the Amiga (YouTube video). A while back a computer enthusiast and fan of the artist thought that Warhol might have used the Amiga before or after this presentation as well.
Due to his request at the Andy Warhol Museum, which has the Warhol Amigas, the disks were searched for further artworks of the artist and so far in total 28 unknown computer graphic works were found. Apparently the pictures are digital versions of well-known Warhol artworks which were reworked or alienated.
Some pictures have been already published on the Internet. The whole process was recorded and the documentation "Trapped" will be available at nowseethis.org after May 12th.

MorphOS: Beta test for AirPort-Extreme driver
Frank 'pega-1' Mariak has written a MorphOS driver for Apple-computers with integrated WLAN-support (screenshot from April 1st), which will be released together with MorphOS 3.6. If you are interested in a beta test, you offer your help.
The Broadcom-based WLAN-chipsets are supported by "AirPort Extreme" and "AirForce One 54g" (they are shown under ShowConfig with the manufacturer information $14E4 and the device numbers $4320 or $4318). According to Andreas Wolf, it is the following Apple-computers, which work under MorphOS:
- eMac: all
- iBook G4: all
- PowerBook G4 Aluminium: all
- Mac mini G4: all
- PowerMac G4: FW800
- PowerMac G5: all
As a kind of Easter gift and as tribute to the registration without working, integrated WLAN-solution, registered users with a compatible chipset can apply for the beta test of this b43-driver. Please use the following eMail address: b43beta@morphos-team.net.
Please note, that it is a softwase to be tested and that the group of participants is limited - so it may happen that your application will be rejected. But by using MorphOS 3.6, you will get the finished driver.

A-EON Technology: Hardware of Amiga soundboard finished
The hardware of the Amiga soundboard Prisma produced by A-EON Technology (amiga-news.de reported) has been, according to photographs under the title link, finished. Currently, the drivers for AmigaOS 3.x and AmigaOS 4 are being developed.

Game: Marco Gregorio's Adventures to Unusual Places
The Backbone-game "Marco Gregorio's Adventures to Unusual Places" has five levels and was tested on an Amiga 1200 (68030/50 MHz).
Few tips and quirks:
- Because there is a small problem with Backbone when you die over "Danger Area" like water, you will respawn to the beginning of a level and restart. So, you need to finish the level w/o dieing
- I limited fire/throw axe speed, so it's harder to kill enemies, you can't just blast through enemies
- You need to collect all items before advancing to the next level
- In the Mayan level not all gates open
- I used the same fire button to Throw and Open Doors, I found out that assigning keyboard press to open the Door was disrupting the flow of the game. So, you can't shoot next to the door, you need to move away some before shooting

Text viewer: EvenMore 0.80
EvenMore is a text viewer written by Chris Perver with ECX in Amiga E. Changes in version 0.80:
- Optimized RTF2Text plugin a little. Fixed bug where a line break instead of a space between a command and ordinary text would cause the plugin to skip a word. Also patched a bug in the RTF code generated by LibreOffice on Linux. LibreOffice stores pen 1 as 0, but other pen numbers start at 2.
- HTML2Text plugin will now display preformatted text as the system default font.
- A bug in the highlighting caused the system default and screen fonts over several lines to be rendered in all the same font.
- Fixed bug. Shadow text and strikethrough styles would not carry over to the next line.
- Created basic PageStream2Text plugin. Still to implement all of the text styles and colours that it offers.
- Created outline text style. ESC[52m turns on outline text, and ESC[53m turns it off again. For use in the new PageStream plugin.
