Workbench-Distribution: AmigaSYS 4 Update R1.3
AmigaSYS is a preinstalled Workbench with many extensions which above all is meant for users of emulators. Additionally only a file with the Kickstart-ROM as well as at least a Workbench disk of version 3.x are required.
The update R1.3 includes updated versions of some packages.

Minimig: Firmware-Update YQ090911
Jakub 'Yaqube' Bednarski has published a new firmware for Dennis van Weeren's Amiga clone Minimig. With the update now MMC-/SD-/SDHC-cards, subdirectories, long file names and four virtual disk drives and two virtual harddrives are supported. 3D-Model of an Amiga CD 32
Stefan Egger has created some 3D-models of Amiga computers on his site "Computer Collection Vienna". The CD32 was added but there are also a lot of other Amiga models.
The models are implemented as PDF-documents. If you have installed the Acrobat Reader (version 8.0 or better) you can also change the perspective, zoom and change the illumination.

AmigaOS 4: Web-Browser Netsurf 3.0 (beta)
NetSurf is a browser which was originally developed for RiscOS and which can be used with a memory of 17 MB. It supports HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1 but does not Javascript. (cg) (Translation: dr)

New AmiMSN beta version
Michael Trebilcock's AmiMSN is an Instant-Messenger-Client for the MSN-Network written in ARexx. The author asks all users of the latest beta version to test it, especially sending several files during a chat.

MorphOS: SCANdal 1.2
Version 1.2 of the scanner software SCANdal has been published for MorphOS by Michal 'rzookol' Zukowski (video). Versions for other systems will be released in a few days.
If you would like to support the development of scanner drivers by helping financing new scanners, feel free to send small donation to the author's PayPal account, which is included in the readme file. Please note that only scanners supported by SANE can be ported.
Changes:
- Contrast slider (if scanner supports it)
- Scanning speed is changeable (if scanner supports it)
- Polish and English docs
- Writing DPI info - PNG saver
- Flip horizontal and Flip vertical buttons added
- Context-dependent mouse pointers
- Scanning in preview mode added
- Printing with Turboprint drivers added
- Added scanner information tab
- "Scan and save" button has been activated
- Minor fixes for MorphOS 1.4.5, still needs Update and MUI4 Beta
- Added possibility to resize existing scan area frame
- In case of lack of memory proper error window is displayed
- Epson USB and Mustek scanners communication has been improved

MorphOS: Update of YouTube-script Tubexx

MorphOS: New and updated AmigaZeux-screenbars, ModernArt Blanker 2.0
Unser the title link a new screenbar for MorphOS was published called Uptime 1.0. It shows how long the system has already worked.
Additionally there are updates for screenbars CPUGauge (1.4) and MemoryGauge (1.3) which show the usage of the processor and of the memory. Last but not least the screen saver ModernArt Blanker was updated.

AROS: Icaros Desktop 1.1.5
Paolo Besser has published an update for his AROS-distribution Icaros Desktop. With version 1.1.5 some problems with newer SDL-/MESA-libraries are fixed, the stability was increased and the AROS-files were updated (9th September).
Additional to the Update-CD under the title link the distribution is also available as complete archive in the Live!- (DVD) and Light-version (CD) as download. Users of version 1.1.4 can also use the Live-Updater.

Anubis OS: Change in project management
Because of other tasks Alex Perez took the project management for Anubis OS from Hogne 'm0ns00n' Titlestad.
It is planned to develop a fast, amiga-inspired operating system based on the Linux-Kernels (amiga-news.de reported).

AROS: Hint for Netbook-owners
Under the title link Paolo Besser described how you can start AROS on Netbooks - at least on an Acer Aspire One - because of the Poseidon port. In any case an USB-DVD-drive is required. Please note that there is not any sound output and network support because of the missing drivers.

Hobby-Project: Automatic monitor switch for Indivision AGA
André 'Ratte' Pfeiffer wrote: With the help of some users from the community there is now a working automatic monitor switch for the Indivision AGA in combination with any graphic board.
It is a pure hobby project which is supposed to be the base for the development of the control software.
In future I am going to build a reworked layout with different chips on a smaller baord.
