Developer tool: Iff2Bpl converts ILBM files
The open source tool Iff2Bpl converts ILBM image files into raw (interleaved) bitplanes, which can then be integrated into games or applications by developers. The author only provides the source code, interested parties must build the executable version themselves. (cg)

Hardware project: Parallel port sampler "Amiga Stereo Audio Digitizer 1.3"
The "Amiga Stereo Audio Digitizer" converts one or two analog audio signals into uncompressed 8-bit audio streams. According to the developer, it should be compatible with "most" corresponding Amiga software; it was tested with Audio Master IV. (cg)

Chip development: Marine, an open-source replica of Amber

MorphOS: Web browser Wayfarer 10.1

Floppy disk images: Disc Image Manager V1.48.1 for Linux, macOS and Windows
Gerald J Holdsworth's Disc Image Manager is an application used to load a retro disc image, read the catalogue and output any required files. In addition, it will also add files to the image, delete, and rename files and directories. On the Amiga side, reading and writing of AmigaDOS disks and hard disks with OFS and FFS formatting are supported (not fully tested with FFS). Support for directory cache and international characters is still missing (amiga-news.de reported). Version 1.48.1 provides the following changes:
New or improved features
- Remembers the last used format when creating a new image.
- Can now specify the disc title when creating a new image.
- When run from the console/command line with no parameters, it will open the console automatically without the -c or --console paramter being specified.
- Added a new console/command line parameter, '-g' or '--gui', to force the application to start in GUI mode.
Bug fixes
- There were possibilities where a blank title, version or copyright string could be applied when updating an ROM FS Header.
- Create a blank !Spark file produced an invalid ZIP file.
- When files were added to a !Spark file, it created a new ZIP file with only this file inside.
- When importing files, sometimes a directory would not be created unless it was ADFS or Amiga.
- Importing files from one system to another sometimes failed as the path structure is different.
- Selecting a file on the directory listing sometimes resulting the details of another file being displayed.
- Creating a new sub-directory, or adding a file, to a sub-directory of the root on an Amiga format image would appear to fail.
- Importing from DFS to a directory capable system, apart from ADFS or Amiga, would not create any subdirectories.
- Adding to a ZIP file would sometimes crash the application.

Emulator hardware: Update 46.1.1131 for A1200NG and A600GS
Another software update has been released for AmigaKit's A600GS emulator platform and the ARM-based A1200NG motherboard. It is available for download to registered AmiSphere customers and includes the following changes:

SMB2 handler: smb2fs 53.10 for AmigaOS 3/4 and AROS
Fredrik Wikstrom's SMB2 handler allows remote access to files via the SMB2/3 protocols. New features in version 53.10:
- Updated to a newer state of libsmb2 sources from the main repo (2025-06-07) and (re-)applied some changes needed for use with smb2fs.
- Fixed an endian conversion bug in libsmb2-git/lib/ntlmssp.c (htole16() was used for a 32-bit value).
- Added utimens() support

SFX engine: Audio Mixer 3.7.2 (update)
Jeroen Knoester's Audio Mixer (video of version 2.0) allows you to mix up to four samples in real time on a single channel without generating a high CPU load (3.7% CPU load for 4 samples at 11KHz on a standard 1MB A500). In version 3.7.1 some bugs have been fixed:
- (BUGFIX) MixerPlayFX, MixerPlayChannelFX, MixerPlaySample and MixerPlayChannelSample now return the correct channel value in D0.
- (BUGFIX) MixerPlayFX, MixerPlayChannelFX, MixerPlaySample and MixerPlayChannelSample now store the rounded sample length back to the MXEffect structure.
- (BUGFIX) Tables used by MixPluginVolume have been corrected to take into account the non-signed nature of the register offset used.

AmiBlitz: AmiBlitz game template North 1.00
Sami Vehmaa's 'North' is an engine developed with AmiBlitz 3, in which you control a character that walks in an isometric view through a winter landscape. Collision detection or even real gameplay are not yet implemented, but there is a level editor. The author would like North, which requires AGA, to be understood as a template that anyone interested can develop into a fully-fledged game themselves. (cg)

Platform game: Space Patrol
José 'jojo073' Gonzáles has released another game, "Space Patrol", which can be obtained from him by e-mail as an ADF file or purchased as a physical product.
The Jump 'n' Run game (video), drawn in the style of the 80s and based on illustrations of the 60s, has six levels in 32 colors, fits on a floppy disk and requires a 68020 processor and Fast RAM for an acceptable speed.
