Emulator: FS-UAE 2.7.16dev
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD and based on WinUAE and "includes an easy-to-use graphical configuration program which allows you to enjoy FS-UAE and Amiga emulation without writing configuration files." Beta version 2.7.16dev is a bug fix release.

AROS-Distribution: Icaros Desktop 2.1.3
Version 2.1.3 of Paolo Besser's AROS distribution Icaros (screenshot) provides some new applications. Besides, OWB, OpenSSL, Mapparium and SimpleMail have been updated:
- Updated PortablE to latest release
- Updated Mapparium to v0.6

Action-Adventure: Tales of Gorluth II is delivered
According to Patrick Nevian, today the pressed CDs of his action adventure "Tales of Gorluth II" which was created with Backbone has been finished:
All pre-orders will be delivered this week. For a couple of monthts, the first part of the fantasy saga can be downloaded for free.

Video: Sign of life of new Amiga-1200 cases

TCP-Stack: Beta tester for Roadshow needed
For an update of the TCP-stack Roadshow a beta tester is needed, who is supposed to test the software. The test computer should be equipped with a 68000-processor and at least Kickstart 2.04. A working Roadshow installation should exist. Interested users write an eMail to Andreas Falkenhahn with the subject "Roadshow".

GPSTool: Testing GPS devices and recording tracks (AmigaOS 3, MorphOS, AROS)
GPSTool written by Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow is a programm for testing GPS devices like Garmin eMap, NaviLock GPS NL-602U USB or Stoton G-702) and for recording tracks on the Amiga. The paths are saved in the GPX-Format, which can be imported by many programms, among others by Mapparium written by the same author. GPSTool is available for AmigaOS 3, AROS and MorphOS. It uses the NMEA protocol to operate.

AmiWest: Amiga DevCon 2016 (6. and 7. October)
This year there will be again a "DevCon" before the AmiWest (7. to 9. October, Sacramento, USA). On October 6th and 7th, the topics will be AmigaOS 4 programming, driver development and usage under Linux-code and Warp 3D Nova.

Hollywood application: APPBuilder V1.3 released
APPBuilder written by Fabio 'Allanon' Falcucci simplifies compiling Hollywood programms and helps assembling the distribution archives. Version 1.3 provides improvements for the plugin management and suppports additional Hollywood plugins. Besides, some minor bugs have been fixed. APPBuilder is Shareware but the unregistered version does not have any limitations.

WHDLoad: New installers until 10.09.2016
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups to your harddisk that were only working from floppy disks previously. The following installers have been added until September 10th, 2016:
- 2016-09-10 fixed: Giganoid (Swiss Computer Arts) interrupt level 2 was not correctly set at startup, BoxIcon added (Info)
- 2016-09-05 improved: Extension (Pygmy Projects) level 6 interrupt problem in replayer fixed (Info, Image)

AmigaOS 4 / MorphOS: Aracade racing game Amiga Racer 3.72
Over the update function included in Michael Neitzel's Lotus clone "Amiga Racer", players get new features. Version 3.72 now has been released which, additional to a new track ("Enchanted Forest", screenshot), introduces a tournament mode (like in the original Lotus series).

AmigaOS 4: CD/DVD burning software FryingPan 1.3.2
In 2011, the source code of the MUI-based CD/DVD burning programm Frying Pan was released under the LGPL. After versions for MorphOS and AmigaOS 3, now Frying Pan also is available for AmigaOS 4 as native version without any Shareware limitations.
