Silversurfer does NOT Work with Melody1200

Since the Cologne fair previous to this year's fair the Silversurfer in it's original state doesn't work correctly with Melody1200 since the complete clockport is blocked, which is in contradiction with what the manufacturer states at his homepage. This information isn't even available to users when they ask for support. Katodev is fed up with fixing Silversurfers without complaining, by now. Currently it seems that even the software does NOT work with Melody1200 anymore.

If Silversurfer and Melody1200 can't work together simultaneoulsy it means that Melody can die from bus-collisions, sooner or later. Please get a guaranty on purchase that Silversurfer does the things you require or use Twister1200. This makes you preventing a lot of anger, port and time for you and us.

We have reconstructed the layout of the Silversurfer now. This shows that the IRQ runs over a diode. Those having problems due to this "trick" should replace the diode by a transistor (e.g. BS170). (unk) (Translation: unk)
