Blog: Working with the Amiga's RAM and RAD disks
In his latest blog entry, Carl Svensson pays tribute to the Amiga's RAM and RAD disk and recalls that the latter was used, for example, for the pinball game Slam Tilt: Since there would be too little RAM left after the Workbench had been fully loaded when starting from the hard disk on an unexpanded Amiga 1200, the latter is avoided by performing a minimalistic restart of the computer.
