Press release: The Sordan store's offering has been updated with the first batch of 200 units of TS500 mechanical keyboards (designed for the Amiga 500) and TS1200 (for the Amiga 1200).

Online sales will begin after the official launch, which will take place on October 18-19 at the Amiga 40 Germany in Mönchengladbach.

The TS500 and TS1200 keyboards are complete, ready-to-use sets (including keycaps and cable). They are available in white-grey or black keycaps, with a choice of switches:

Red switches: Silent, with a smooth, soft feel and no click sound
Blue switches: Offer a discernible tactile bump and a loud, audible click

The TS500 keyboard is equipped with its own controller. This eliminates the need to transfer the controller from the old keyboard. Additionally, the controller allows the keyboard to be connected to a PC (in USB mode).

The keyboards feature keycaps with legends created using Dye-Sublimation technology. This technique embeds the graphic into the keycap plastic, making the markings exceptionally durable and indelible, unlike the less durable tampography (pad printing).

23 extra keycaps are included with every set, allowing you to configure one of three layouts: US, UK, or DE.

The price for one keyboard is 139.99 Euro + VAT (according to the rate of the destination country).

The Sordan store also plans to introduce the TS600 keyboard for the Amiga 600 to its offer in the near future. (snx)
