The big archive contains button graphics as well as several background pictures. MUI is not supported but Aksnes would create a corresponding skin if there is sufficient interest. Here are screenshots. NewGUI also runs under the 68k emulation of MorphOS. With regard to the transparency, it's not a true transparency - a new layers.library would be necessary for that. The background is not updated. Nevertheless the transparency effect requires a lot of processor performance, but according to the author's message the time for the calculation of the background has been reduced to acceptable levels on a 68040. AmigaOS4 beta tester Steven Solie explains in his report about the 'Ottawa Amiga Show' that directly after the show, his AmigaOne dealer (LiveWire Systems) applied a hardware fix to his AmigaOne that fixes the lock ups that appear when using onboard IDE DMA at the same time as an Ethernet controller (we reported). According to Solie, complete information on the procedure will be available to all AmigaOne dealers soon. Eyetech did not confirm any of the above statements yet.
