WHDLoad: New packages until 04.01.2014
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups on your harddisk that were not compatible with anything but floppy disks. The following installers have been added until January 4th, 2014:

Linux: Kernel 3.13-rc6 for Sam4x0-boards and AmigaOne X1000
Today the Linux-Kernel 3.13-rc6 has been released for the Sam440ep and Sam460ex board as well as for the AmigaOne X1000 for testing purposes. 'Spectre660' has written the version for ACube System's computers, Olof Johansson and Christian Zigotzky have provided the kernel for the AmigaOne X1000.
Please note that the Radeon Dynamic Power Management does still not work on these computers. Therefore you have to add the Boot-parameter radeon.dpm=0.
Example for the Sam4x0-boards:

Text editor with Kickstart 1.2-compatibility: Redit 1.2
Kai Scherrer's text editor Redit runs without any limitations on an Amiga equipped with Kickstart 1.2, but is compatible to higher versions of the system as well. Apart from the libraries in the ROM, usually no other system files are required (under Kickstart 2 or higher the asl.library can be used). The editor can also be started from an emergency disk or after booting without startup-sequence.

MorphOS: Spreadsheet editor Spreedy 0.2
"Spreedy" written by Carsten Siegner is a spreadsheet editor which is an extended version of the built-in editor of Scriba. The main focus is on the compatibility with programms like Excel and OpenOffice, which also can open Spreedy spreadsheets.
Version 0.2 can also load binary Excel-files (.xls). You can find further information in the archive, in the file Excel_Faq.readme.

Javascript: TAWS - The Amiga Workbench Simulation 0.23
Press release: TAWS ("The Amiga Workbench Simulation") TAWS is a JavaScript-only (NO Java, NO Flash!) simulation of the Amiga Workbench 1.0 - 4.1 for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Apple-WebKit-browser. Any kind of feedback is very welcome.

AmigaOS 4: E-UAE 0.8.29 with integrated JIT-compiler (beta)
For quite some time, Álmos Rajnai (Petunia) has been working on the integration of a JIT-68k-compiler into the Amiga emulator E-UAE. As a result, 68k-programms could be run much faster under UAE.
Today Rajnai has released an early beta version of E-UAE-JIT. So far not all 68k-commands were implemented. The author urgently requests to carefully read the included readme-file.
The status of the JIT-compiler (enabled, enabled but inactive, not available) is shown by a new "LED" which is next to the simulated drives-LED - they possibly have to be activated in the configuration menu. JIT-compiling only works if UAE at least emulates a 68020-CPU and if the CPU-caches are enabled.
A MorphOS-port is in progress.

MorphOS: IceFileSystem 2.11
IceFS is a 64-Bit file system for MorphOS. Changes in version 2.11:
- Filesystem settings (IceConfig ones) failed to be loaded if
volume was formatted with blocksize different from HDConfig
setting (Using FSFormat). Fixed.
- Relative softlink issue fixed.
- Now pretends to support ACTION_SET_OWNER for softlinks.
Now works better with some *ix ports of software.
- SetFileDate() before Close() is now preserved.

Action-Adventure: Update for Enemy 2
For the recently released action adventure Enemy 2: Missing in Action an update is available which gets the game running on 1MB-computers that are only equipped with 512KB Chip-RAM. Additionally the buggy file of level 18 was replaced.
- Main programm is not crunched any longer
- Command 'CloseWB' added to startup-sequence to get more CHIP-memory
- Sound-effects reduced: abprall.fx and schrei0.fx
- astart.txt: new version-number
- sektor03.sek: misleading wall arrow removed
- sektor18.sek: File corrupt - replaced.

Jump'n Run: Solid Gold for Amiga 500
After about a year, Frank (code) and Gerrit Wille (graphics) have released their game "Solid Gold". According to the developers the game is a mix of Turrican, Giana Sisters and Rick Dangerous. It is a Jump'n Run game "with soft 8-way scrolling over four worlds with different graphics and music".
Solid Gold requires an Amiga with at least one Megabyte RAM (512 KB Chip, 512 KB Fast) as well as Kickstart 1.2 or higher. It is compatible to faster and more equipped computers but does not use the performance.
The source code of the game will be published in some days under a Public Domain licence. Another commercial release of the game with a professional case is planned.
