Screenshot-Utility: SnapIt 1.2 for AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS
The author describes SnapIt as "powerful screen grabber". For the first time version 1.2 also is available for AmigaOS 4. Changes:

- Updated JPEG/PNG save routines

Tutorials: Roadshow on the Minimig/Turbo Chameleon 64
The "Turbo Chameleon 64" is a FPGA-based C64 accelerator board which can be also used in the stand-alone mode. On the board a RS-232-port can be upgraded as Amiga extension using the clockport.
Christian "Lallafa" Vogelsang shows in his English-language blog how he uses the clockport with the help of a simple hardware-mods for an emulated Amiga and how he integrates the computer with Roadshow and PPP into a home network.

Game launcher: X-bEnCH 0.91 Beta 5
X-bEnCH is a graphical user-interface for launching WHDLoad games (.slave, .exe) with up to 128 colours. It requires few resources (Youtube-video of version 0.8). The update fixes some minor bugs:
- The bad display of the longs names for registered users
- The "CD Mode" crash when switching On/Off in the setup
- The strange month/year bug with the Setclock in the setup
- The "Esc" key in the launcher in some cases

Jump and Run: Frank Wille announces "Solid Gold" for Amiga 500
Frank "phx" Wille (among others Sqrxz, vbcc) has announced another jump'n run game for the end of the year. "Solid Gold" is created in cooperation with the brother of Wille who is the graphic artist:
Wille describes Solid Gold as "a mix of Turrican, Giana Sisters and Rick Dangerous". The game was developed in assembler and features smooth 8-way-scrolling with 50 pictures per second. An Amiga with at least one megabyte RAM (512 KB Chip, 512 KB Fast) is required.
Currently the highscore list and the final sequence are written. Apart from "some fine-tuning" (Wille) all other work was completed. Solid Gold will be released as ADF-image. The source code will be available for free.

AmigaOS 4: RadeonHD driver 1.0 RC2 (0.57)
A-EON has released an update of the commercial graphic board driver for RadeonHD, which is developed by Hans de Ruiter. Changes in this version:
- Golden register initialisation code added (golden registers are a table of registers supplied by AMD's hardware engineers to be initialised on startup)
- Improved the VGA (UBOOT/CFE screen) shutdown code for Evergreen+ chipsets. This solves the intermittent boot problems which affected some Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 cards. (and possibly others)
The driver supports 2D-operations and compositing and among others works with the following RadeonHD-types:
- X1300-X1950 Serie
- HD4000 Serie
- "Evergreen" HD5000 Serie
- "Northern Islands" HD6000 Serie
- "Southern Island" HD7000 Serie

MorphOS: Scriba 1.9.9
Version 1.9.9 of Carsten Siegnes text processing software Scriba now can save spreadsheets in the following formats:
PDF, SVG, CSV, XML, HTML, XMLSS and ODS. Additionally the spreadsheets can also include hyperlinks.
XMLSS-files are saved in the sub-format of Microsoft Excel 2003 which can be opened by Excel 2010 or OpenOffice. The file format OpenDocumentSpreadsheet (ODS) can be opened by e.g. OpenOffice or Google Docs.
Besides, Scriba can create websites with the following features:

- text
- lists
- pictures
- spreadsheets

Z3SDRAM: Development of Zorro-II/III memory extension and network card
In the forum of Amiga.org, Tim 'tnt23' Taschpulatow has introduced version 1.2 of his Z3SDRAM-project. The memory extension was originally developed for Zorro-III-slots but now can also be used with Zorro II and additionally has an ethernet-controller based on the DM9000-chip by Davicom.

Accelerator board: Progress report about ACA500 (English)
Under the title link an English-language progress report about the accelerator board ACA500 developed by Individual Computers was released.
The report, written by an user who was a co-developer, concludes: 2 MB Fast-RAM as well as a missing case are the disadvantages of the board. Otherwise, the board delivers what was promised and has a high compatibility.

Linux: Ubuntu 12.04 and Debian 7.2 for the Sam440ep (Flex) and Sam460ex
Under the title link, for the Sam4x0-boards of ACube Systems a separate Linux-support-section in the forum of Hyperion Entertainment was establsihed. There, updated versions of ports of Ubuntu 12.04 and Debian 7.2 were linked which was released at the end of October.
Additional to updates for the Sam440ep - Ubuntu 12.04-2 and Debian 7.2 with kernel 3.12 - Linux-distributions are also available for the Sam460ex.

AmigaOS 4/AROS: Bounty-project for Odyssey web browser
Under the title link on Power2poeople.org, a bounty project for releasing Fabien 'Fab' Coeurjoly's web browser Odyssey under an open-source-licence was established which would make it possible to adapt it to AmigaOS 4 and AROS.
Earlier versions of his browser the author already released for free. But these versions cannot play e.g. HTML5-videos. This fearture Fabien Coeurjoly developed himself; there is not any other Amiga implemenation for that except the (still unsatisfying) Firefox/Timberwolf. Alternative browsers for different operating systems are open-source but often overdependent (Chrome) or bloated (Webkit-GTK), or not open-source (Apple Quicktime for the Mac-version of Webkit or the Windows-implementation).

Aminux: AROS-Vision-68k-Distribution for i386 desktops and notebooks
Pascal Papara has released a first public version of Aminux. It is a 68k-distribution AROS Vision via FS-UAE for USB-sticks using the Linux-distribution Mikroknoppix. An installation is not necessary.
For the next version it is planned to execute Linux and AROS applications out of AROS/68k.

TCP/IP stack: Roadshow 1.11
Version 1.11 of the TCP/IP stack Roadshow has been released today. The update improves the stability of the stack itself as well as of its PPP
drivers and is recommended to every customer.
Focus of the update has been an increased stability of the software on
Amigas with 68000 and 68010 CPU. Additionally, a new configuration file is included.

AmigaOS 4: Game DVD 1 with 70 game ports
At the Alchimie, ACube announced a game-DVD which is from now on available in the ACube-shop. It includes about 70 ports, which either are available for the first time or which were updated compared to existing versions (bug fixes, Joystick-support etc.).
If a game or engine should require external level data then they are not included in the DVD due to licence reasons. Instead, the included installer will download the files from the Internet during the installation.
