AmiBench.org - Domain Problems
AmiBench.org might be not accessible under the used domain amibench.org during next days.
The reason why is the change of the domain register station.
These days you can use the following alternative URL's:
http://www.amibench.com
http://www.amibench.net
http://ami.bencher.org
It is not determined by now how long the change will take.

MiamiDX lisences arrived, Lyra under production
From now on the X-Surf ethernet / MiamiDX bundle again is available form
all of the trading partners. Who already owns a X-Surf card can purchase
MiamiDX at a special price by presenting his/her bill - simple ordering by
e-mail. At the time being MiamiDX is the only possibility to use T-DSL
(German Telekom) with the Amiga and wasn't available from German vendors
for a long time.
The keyboard adapter Lyra is now under production. The first adapters in versions
for A2000, A3000, and A4000 will be available from all of the trading partners in the first
week of February. The Eternity company already verified Lyra to be the only adapter that supports
simultaneous pressing of several keys. This allows playing games also with a PC-keyboard connected
to the Amiga.

Heise: Corel Will Keep Linux Branch as Seperate Company
Following two extracts from the Heise article:
«Except of the new Linux strategy the already for a long time announced company strategy of Corel contains
no big surprises.
...[snip]...
It remains Linux. Corel will not abandon the Linux business as speculated in the last weeks. They still
want to offer a complete Linux solution to the customers. To do so Corel intends to outsource the Linux distribution
into a seperate company, but to continue to work on Linux versions of WordPerfect Office Suite and CorelDRAW themselves.
But there is nothing about .NET for Linux.»
