Initial Alpha Version of SimpleMail Released
SimpleMail is a new e-mail program being developed by Hynek Schlawack and
Sebastian Bauer. We have just released the first alpha version on the website.
It requires MUI and several additional MUI classes. SimpleMail still is at a
very early level, but it is already usable and the most important features are
implemented.
SimpleMail is to be an open source project at SourceForge. Here the URL of the
project's page.

The Secret of Mount Monkey - a Canceled Devotee-Adventure

complete intro and parts of the first level (not playable). THE SECRET OF MOUT MONKEY is an
adventure game in style of the old classic adventures by Lucas-Arts (e.g. Monkey Island, Indiana Jones,
Day of the Tentacle, ....). The game combines the characters of these games building a new adventure game.
Guybrush Threepwood's daughter accepts the bid of Simon The Sorcerer to save the world, and has to
supply several ingredients for his magic potion. She travels to foreign islands (MONKEY ISLAND), visits
the Maniac Manison (DAY OF THE TENTACLE), stumbles into the comic strip worlds of Sam & Max as well as
Leisure Suit Larry...
The demo in graphics strongly abutes to the old adventure games and is a must for all those who loves adventures.

Voyager for registered users. Notes on this version can be taken from the

A.C.T.: Prelude Z2 und Samplitude
Due to problems shipping of Prelude Z2 sound cards by
A.C.T. delayed for some time.
But now the card is shipping. In additional Samplitude is available for
download on A.C.T.'s homepage. This version has many features disabled which
can be enabled by purchasing a keyfile in the A.C.T. shop.

Christmas Greetings and News from ANNEX
ANNEX wish all of you merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Contrary to some rumours the group would have parted I would like to tell, that we are
still there. We are well and waiting for strating shot for us to come back with new songs, a
new performance and hopefully a great come-back of the Amiga next year.
Publishing a track on the new OS 3.9 hopefully was a clear sign that we are NOT to leaving behind
the Amiga, but rather we are waiting for the things to continue. OS 3.9 also was a noticeable sign
for a generative co-operation happened, at last.
I wish all Amiga users and most of all the programmers merry Christmas and a happy new year.

StrICQ 0.1733 Released
On the StrICQ support page StrICQ v0.1733 was released!
The new version contains bugfixes and the client has been graphically enhanced.
So there now are status icons in the main window (the known ICQ flower), and
the preferences window has got nicer icons.
