HTMLread v.48
Gunter Hinrichsen has released an update of 'HTMLread' on 17. December 2000 and
an update of the Genesis plug-in for HTMLread on 14. December.
HTMLread is an extension for the email client YAM that allows reading HTML mails. YAM
can't display e-mails written in HTML for now, as they are sent by Netscape,
Eudora or Outlook. HTMLread discovers, converts and sends these e-mails to a
HTML viewer.
Some changes have been made in the new version:
Two bugs were fixed, it's become smaller, condition images are supported, the
download manager now doesn't open his condition windows anymore when you're
offline, the downloadmanager now knows the option QUIET, better looking
condition GIFs and some more changes.
The Genesis plug-in toggles Genesis automatically on- and offline again for the
download of web-images.

Marcus Neervoort with New URL
Marcus Neervoort's homepage is now reachable under the new URL
http://amigapage.de/. On his site there are
among other things informtion about the history of the Amiga, Fleecy Moss'
speech on the WoA 2000 and pictures of the WoA 2000 to be found.
The move became necessary as the web-space Neervoort needs to keep the page
running wasn't sufficient anymore at T-Online coupled with other providers of
web-space.

«For all the love for the Amiga, but very important for us are a Macintosh

cooperation with an important company in the Amiga market, that also supports us
heavily on doing the MacIntosh version one can count indeed on three more

aminetGUI is NOT offline
In some forums there is a rumor that says the aminetGUI and even the whole
AmiNET were offline. This is not true. he AmiNET as well as the aminetGUI are
online. Only the URL www.aminet.de is offline since the domainprovider has
problems. The current URL is
www.amiga-gateway.de/aminetgui/index.html.
All services of the GUI can be reached under this URL.
Alexander Kurtz, webmaster of the Aminet-GUI wrote: "I do not

still working on it! I owe this to you, the Amiga community."

EASys! Update 4.8.4 and bugfix with OS 3.9
The update to version 4.8.4 of EASys! will be ready for 20.12.2000 at the
latest. User who bought the 4.8.4 CD-R package at the fair in Cologne don't
need that update anymore. But following things should be arranged with 4.8.4
CD-R package so OS 3.9 runs completely.
- rename the file EASys!:config/OS39_with_toolsdaemon to OS39_with_rexxmenu
- in file SYS:StartSys/e_WB/2_Toolbar (or 2_ToolManager_EASys) add one line
before the startup of the toolmanager:
wait 10 this is required because
an asynchron simultaneous start of AmiDock and ToolManager causes a bug.

New Sample-Set for WormsDC
Since Hyperion are taking their time for "Worms Armageddon" for the Amiga, I
have created a new sample-set with up to 90% of German samples for the old
"Worms - The Directors Cut" (try the "Suizid-Oma" or atomic bomb;)). This puts
the fun back into WormsDC :-). Caution: the set is approximately 3 MB large
(you need a lot of Fast-Ram to use the samples).
