AROS: Voxel Bird Saga
In April the game Voxel Bird Saga was released for AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS and now also is available for AROS/x86.
In Voxel Bird Saga you have to control a bird, try to destroy as many things as possible and collect coins.

Gloom-Engine: Deathmask 3D
Czeslaw 'Leon' Mnich has created a remake of the Amiga game Deathmask for the Gloom engine. Deathmask 3D features 10 levels and a combat mode for two players.

Project start: It Came From The Desert - The film
The film production company Roger! Pictures obviously has obtained a licence for filming the Cinemaware classic It Came From The Desert. On the Facebook website of the project there are only some film posters. In the blog Indie Retro News the executive producers explained the project currently is in the pre-production-phase - further information will be communicated from January 16th.

Gloom Deluxe Total Conversion: "Did IT come from the Desert?"
Inspired by Cinemaware's announcement to release the port of the Mega Drive game It Came From The Desert next year, "nittamituaki" has created a "Total Conversion" of the FPS-classic Gloom Deluxe.
The Mega Drive version of the classic has very little in common with the original adventure game - now rather it is a actual shooter.
You can install nittamituaki's Total Conversion (Youtube video) by installing first Gloom Deluxe on harddrive. Afterwards the original files will be replaced by the files from the "Did IT come from the Desert?"-download. The game requires a 68020-processor and about 1,8 MB ChipRAM.

Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 2.5.22dev
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD is based on WinUAE and can be completely controlled with a joypad. Since the last stable version released in March (2.4.1), so far only developer versions have been released.
Changes in FS-UAE 2.5.22dev:
- Use qemu-uae for slirp support
- Added support for softfloat library (not tested)
- Enabled support for prowizard module ripper
- New action “action_module_ripper” available for custom input mapping
- A few other bugfixes

E-Mail-client: SimpleMail 0.41 (AmigaOS 3/4)
As usual a Christmas update of SimpleMail has been released. The jokingly called "Final Edition" has been completed by certificate-checks and under AmigaOS 4 now has a separate and updated version of OpenSSL.
- Added some server certificate checks including the possibility to manually specify the fingerprints of the remote servers
- For AmigaOS 4.x, a version statically linked against OpenSSL will be temporarily provided, at least until AmiSSL has been updated. For this version, OpenSSL 1.0.1j is used.
- Some development infrastructure changes have been undertaken including the move of the source code repository from SourceForge to GitHub

Amiga game launcher: X-bEnCH 0.99 Xmas alpha pre release
X-bEnCH is a graphical user-interface with up to 272 colours (AGA; 128 on OCS/ECS-computers) which can replace the Workbench for launching WHDLoad-games and other applications and requires low hardware resources. An integrated command line as well as the file manager Xpl0rEr are also available.
For lack of time, instead of version 1.0 the author has released v0.99 which he calls an "alpha pre release". Most of the changes still have not been documented in the manual. It is not recommended to update an existing installation. You better completely reinstall it.
Changes of the different X-bEnCH-components:
Xinit 3.5:
- No more interlaced Hires display as asked by users.
- New floppy pix loading screen. (No more loading bar)
- New MicroKnight font check added.
- New two databases checks added.
- New pix unknow and nopict check added.
- Xbench Guru box display fixed (Was ending on a black screen if some
files were missed).
- Now internals releases need a regkey to start.
- New internal sort loop for the database (Top/Flop/Favorites/...)
- Now can use black or white background for loading screen (see setup).
- Added a check for the new Xpl0rEr datas.
- Fixed the "d" Hotkey debug feature. (Only init was logged)
- Database update upgraded.
- Fixed a bug that was crashing your system if you have less than 2Mb
of free Ram (chip or fast).
Xmenu 2.9:
- Now display up to 352 colours on screen with AGA.
- New logo by Leon.
- Logo position fix.
- Now display a 8bit logo if Aga is detected or 5bit one if no AGA.
- New MicroKnight font used.
- Now blue rotating tube effect behind the menu for AGA setups.
- Fixed a weird bug that was in some case moving the Xbench logo.
- Starfield optimised (250% faster for everybody and with 50% more
stars on screen for 020+ users).
- New rewind reverse effect for the starfield.
- Slow speed with 68020/68030 AGA fixed.
- Rotating tube effect under the menu limited to 040/060 AGA setup.
- Fixed the "d" Hotkey debug feature. (Only init was logged)
Xlaunch 3.8:
- Now display up to 640 colours on screen with AGA.

- More than 99Mb of fast display bug fixed (Now up to 999Mb).
- New NTSC display (200px) and PAL display (256px) implemented.
- CD32 Fastjump freez (after 15/20 jump) fix (unfinished!)
- Now you can press the "Help" key to randomly start an entry of the
actual listing.
- Now properly rename your games for a clean display.
- Now display in real time the name and some infos about your game in
the bottom of the screen.
- Now display in real time pictures of your game in the bottom of the
screen.
- New blue to purple gradient background.
- New floppy pix loading screen.
- New rotating gradient text color for the listings with AGA.
- You can now press "F8" for an access to the "FlopList".
- Now you can start on Top, Flop, Favourite or the first valid listing.
- You can now press "F9" for an access to the "FavList".
- You can now press the "+" key on your keyboard or the "Play/Pause"
button with a CD32 Pad to add an entry to the "FavList".
- You can now press the "-" key on your keyboard or the "Play/Pause"
button with a CD32 Pad to remove an entry from the "FavList".
- Now check the listing rev to be sure that all is up to date.
- Now if a listing rev is not "compatible" Xlaunch exit back to the
main menu.
- Fixed a big fail/bug in the listings reading and dimming.
- Now can use a variable delay to refresh the bottom part. (see setup)
- Fixed a weird bug that was in some case moving the Xbench logo.
- Floplist is now replaced by the Last15 list.
- Now work with up to 25 smaller databases. (List1>6, Top, Last15,
Favs, refs, ...). Faster and less memory needed.
- You can now use the keypad with the searchengine/fastjump feature.
- Crash of the random game selection feature (Help key) fully fixed.
- Now the random game selection jump back to the good position when
leaving the game.
- Checkerboard loader 1.4 now can be disabled with a switch in the
setup to have faster start of your games.
- Now you can switch the color of the background in the setup with
this colors: Blue, Red, Purple or random.
- New gradient background updated to be colors switchable.
- Now can display the listing with a sliding color effect (Aga only)
or with a fader effect with a switch (As before and for every setup).
- If you have selected a playlist in the setup, then one track of your
playlist will be randomly played.
- Start of a random game (Help key) bug fixed.
- Stack overflow fixed if the favs list is bigger than any other
single list.
- F7/F8/F9 shortcuts fixeds.
- Fixed a bug that was not adding the good entry to the Favs list.
- Now you can remove many entry in the Favs list without any bug.
- Now if the Favs list is empty jump back to the first listing
available (an so no more crash if you try to move in or delete an
entry in an empty Favs list).
- Fixed the "d" Hotkey debug feature. (Only init was logged)
- Random background color feature fixed.
- Random background color now set as default if you don't change it
in the setup/launcher (was previously set as Blue)
- Audio Playlist feature fully fixed.
- Unkown refs fixed (was previously seen as a known ref without pict).
- New refs database including 4059 refs based on the eab 2.2 whdlpacks.
- Now set to play as default the cracktro tunes playlist.
- Now can use black or white background for loading screen (see setup).
- Fixed a mistake that can display some bad entrys if you try to go rear
to the end of a list.

Xpl0Rer 1.4:
- Rename/Cancel shapes were inverted in the rename box. Fixed.
- More than 99Mb of fast display bug fixed (Now up to 999Mb).
- Fixed an i/o issue that was crashing the system with too fast
or too slow drive.
- Now if Pal display is detected display is switched to 640x256.
- Added 18 user programmable buttons. (Not yet activated)
- Added the Mod player buttons. (Not yet activated)
- Now read the setup.prf when starting.
- Up to 12 users programmables buttons added (PAL, 6 with NTSC).
- Mod player with Playlist feature added (Unfinished but working).
- Fixed the Format button that was not working with the left side.
- Now use the Microknightfont as the other parts of X-bEnCh.
- Fixed a mistake that was switching the display ON before all is ok.
- Now use gfx buttons instead off full txt/code buttons.
- New Top/Up/Down/Bottom gfx buttons instead of txt buttons.
- Top/Up/Down/Bottom buttons are now on the right side of the xplorer
window instead of the bottom.
- Added the Refresh button to force redraw of a dir.
- Central display notifications system added.
- Now use a single Audio Filter buttons (Dolby logo).
- Added an "Eject" button to clear the current playlist.
- Central Display updated to show the name of the curently played mod.
- Playlist manager now display the list of mods in a playlist.
- Added Top/Up/Down/Bottom buttons to the playlist's list manager so
now you can browse trough it.
- Fixed a bug that was forbiding you to go to the bottom of a list with
the down button.
- Bad display color of the files in a list if there is no subdirectory
in the readed dir fixed.
- Added the Clock/Date display feature on the bottom left part.
- Code optimised and lighted.
- Fixed the "d" Hotkey debug feature. (Only init was logged)
- Too long mods name display issue fixed.
- Added the mod volume oscillo feature to the central display.
Xsetup 3.4:
- Added an option to switch the refresh delay of the bottom part of
the screen. If "oFf" the bottompart will be simply switched off.
If 5ms/10ms/15ms the bottom part will be refreshed 5/10 or 15 vbl
after you stop moving in the listing. Use this option if setup is
a bit slow. ("InfoScr")
- New launching listings format.
- Scanning is more verbose now.
- The "Top" switch in the launcher setup is renamed on "StartOn". So
now you can switch between the init to the Top, the Flop, the Favs
or the 1st valid listing.
- Now when updating a list the database for the Top/Flop/Favorites is
updated too and included all entry (even if started 0 time).
- Now add a rev to a listing when updated.
- Bad displayed names in the launcher lists fixed.
- In some rare cases the number of entrys scanneds were falses. Fixed.
- Database update upgraded.
- Launcher option "Start on Flop15" replaced by "Start on Last 15".
- Added a switch to enable/disable the Checkerboard screen. ("LoAdScr")
- The button to switch the background of the launcher is now activated.
(You can switch between Random, Blue, Red and Purple).
- The button to switch the display mode of the text in the launcher
is now activated. (You can switch between slider and fader effect)
- In the setup/launcher you can now change the name of a listing and
it will be saved even if you don't update this listing.
- The setup/Xplorer panel has been created with on the left the 84
buttons needed for the setup of the 12 users buttons and on the
right the 13 options buttons.
- Now you can use an audio playlist for the Launcher
- Added a button to open an ASL file requester to select your playlist.
Music button must be switched to "PList" instead of "Yes".
- Added a button to switch the arrows positions in the Xpl0rer tab.
- New look and design.
- Now use the Microknight font as like as the other parts of X-bEnCh.
- Fixed a bug that was adding false whdload entrys (as like as Apidya).
- Fixed a mistake that was creating a list with 1 entry if there was no
entry to add.

MorphOS: SoundBankster 1.3
Antoine 'tchecko' Dubourg's SoundBankster (screenshot) is an application for DJs which can be completely controled with a USB-DJ-Deck. At least 512 MB RAM are recommended.
The programm was written for MorphOS and e.g. uses its HID-sensor-API introduced in version 3.6. Reggae (loading and playing music), AHI (dual sound output over different AHI-units) and TinyGL (rendering the graphic chart of the audio signal) are used as well.
Changes:
- Full localisation, SoundBankster is now provided with french and english locale
- Improved equalizers by using shelf filters for low and hi band greatly improving the filtering
- Improved loop handling, added x2 and /2 buttons
- Minor GUI changes here and there
- And as usual bunch of bug fixing

AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition: Updated BootFloppy for Amiga 3000 computers

Brussels, December 24, 2014
Much to Hyperion Entertainments regret it was noticed that the bootfloppy originally shipped with AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for Amiga 1200, 3000 and 4000 computers contains a defective KickLayout file, which makes it impossible to boot on an Amiga 3000 computer.
In order to remedy this situation, registered customers of AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition for classic Amiga computers may download an updated bootfloppy as ADF image from the download area.
Alternatively, experienced users may follow the manual instructions on the Hyperion support forum.

Emulator: WinUAE 3.0.0 with PowerPC emulation
Version 3.0.0 of the well-known Amiga emulator WinUAE has been released. The main new feature is the PowerPC emulation of a PowerPC accelerator board which first was introduced in the beta versions.
New emulated hardware:
- PPC CPU emulation. CyberStorm PPC and Blizzard PPC boards emulated
using QEMU PPC core, on-board SCSI supported
- Other accelerator boards emulated (Blizzards, CyberStorms, Warp
Engine, TekMagic, A2630), including on-board SCSI if available
- More SCSI expansion boards emulated (Fastlane, Oktagon, Blizzard Kit IV)
- CD32 Full Motion Video cartridge emulation
- CDTV-CR emulation

Bugs fixed:
- 68060 with "Unimplemented CPU emu" checkbox ticked: 68060 only unimplemented instructions were not emulated normally
- Screenshot with D3D shader filter enabled always took filtered screenshot
- SCSI CD READ CD command only worked if audio track was first track of CD
- Hard reset didn't reset map rom loaded KS ROM data
- AGA sprites in borders were clipped incorrectly in some situations (2.8.0)
- Autofire always on mode crashed
- PCMCIA IDE emulation was broken long time ago
- uanet.device + slirp combination was unusable
- Directory filesystem statesave support open file path handling fixed
- AVI audio recording always used PCM mode

AROS: AEROS for Amiqube available
For the amiqube, the Linux-hosted AROS-distribution AEROS now is available - either under the title link (Amiqube) or in the indieGO!-Appstore.
amiqube is the CuBox-i (Wikipedia), which is an ARM-based, small-sized computer. The processor is an i.MX6 Dual Lite. According to their own statements, the amiqube is put on the market by Amidore Inc. and also is available in three stores in Florida, USA. This is an Italian company belonging to Formato Media SRL based in Rome.

ACube Systems: L2 cache utility for Sam460/AmigaOne 500
One week ago already ACube Systems released a small utility that may increase performance on the Sam460/AmigaOne 500. The utility works on both, Sam460ex and Sam460cr boards.
To avoid incoherency between L2 cache and main memory, on Sam460 CPU the AmigaOS 4.1 kernel disables L2 cache write by default. On your own risk you can activate L2 cache write now, but it is suggested to do so only in advance of performance-intensive tasks like watching videos. Afterwards, L2 cache write should be switched off again.
Please be aware that activating L2 cache write may cause system instability and/or data corruption. On the other hand, once L2 cache write is enabled, Ragemem will report around 35% speed increase in the L2 WRITE32/WRITE64 tests, and some applications may see improved performance too (for example 3-5% speed increase in MPlayer with some videos).

A-EON Technology acquires Aladdin 4D
A-EON Technology has purchased the AmigaOS source code and development rights for the raytracing and animation programm Aladdin 4D from DiscreetFX. Versions for MorphOS and AROS might be also possible. DiscreetFX will retain the rights for non-Amiga related operating systems.
Aladdin 4D "was originally created by Greg Gorby before being acquired by DiscreetFX in December 2007."

AmigaOS 4/MorphOS bounty: MPlayer Altivec optimization
Konstantinos 'feanor' Margaritis would optimize the PPC-port of MPlayer for the Altivec-unit built in G4-, G5- and PA6T-processors, if 1000 Euro will be donated. A corresponding bounty now was opened at bountysource.com.
The goal of the optimization is to be able to perfectly play the h264-coded trailer of the motion picture Prometheus in a solution of 1920x1080 pixels on a X1000 - currently only 18 instead of the required 24 frames per second are achieved. If a Altivec optimization is able to increase the performance by 33% and how much influence on less powerful processors it would have, currently the software developer cannot reckon.
The description of the bounty does not say for which systems the optimization has to be released. Margaritis does not own an OS4-compatible computer, but only a Powerbook G4.

Creating Installer-scripts: InstallerGen 1.1
Using InstallerGen, developers can create installer scripts for their programms for the Commodore-installer. The programm has a MUI user-interface. AmigaOS 3.0 as well as the MUI-class NList.mcc are required.

Retro-Gaming: WHDLoad 18.0
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups on your harddisk that were not compatible with anything but floppy disks.
Changes of version 18.0:
- fix:WHDLoad lock up happen when FullChip/S is used and
exec.MaxLocMem is equal to BaseMemSize fixed
- fix:ExpChip/S and FullChip/S cannot be enabled together, if both
are set FullChip/S will be silently disabled (Psygore)
- chg:option NoTrapHandler/S has been removed
- fix:race condition fixed which sometimes caused a 'Privilege
Violation Exception' when a Resload function was called from
Usermode and got interrupted during the internal switch to
Supervisor mode and then trace exception was used from the
installed program, seen especially in installs using kick13
emu and performing a lot of disk io, fixes issue #2094 and
connected ones
- chg:the log file created by the FileLog/S facility has been
renamed from .whdl_filelog to .whdl_log
- new:function resload_Log which puts custom messages into the log
file .whdl_log, uses the same file as the FileLog/S facility
and requires that FileLog/S option is set so that messages
will be written
this function is intended to make it easier to debug/follow
alien code by adding trace messages to dump the execution
state at useful places
- new:option LogBuffer/K/N to control the size of the internal
buffer allocated for log messages by FileLog/S and

happy to have it completed now
- chg:option ChkAudPt/S is also supported on the 68030 and 68040 now
- chg:the interrupt redirect feature of ACA500/Zeus is not used when
option NoVBRMove/S is set
- chg:PreloadSize/N will also be set by WHDLoad if ws_DontCache is
used in the Slave

Javascript: TAWS - The Amiga Workbench Simulation 0.24
TAWS ("The Amiga Workbench Simulation") is a Javascript simulation of the Amiga-Workbench 1.0 - 4.1 for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Apple-WebKit-Browser. The author would be pleased about any kind of feedback.
Version 0.24 includes the following changes:
- Preferences:
- New style ŤOS4ť: GUI elements (TextBox, CheckBox, ListBox, Cycle, Button and Slider) are drawn in an OS4-style.
- New: Background pattern for preferences dialogs
- New iconset: BetterWB
- Requesters for OS versions >= 4.0 now have a XEN look, icons are centred on the screen.
The font of the first button is now bold.
- For OS versions >= 4.0 ŤVerdanať is now the default font (used for the labels on the preferences dialogs, buttons, etc.)

Crowdfunding: Rocket Ranger Reloaded (update)
The current holder of the Cinemawares rights is going to release again the classic action-adventure Rocket Ranger as a "reloaded"-version and has established a crowdfunding-project at Kickstarter.
According to the publisher's own information he is going to "bring the game to as many platforms as possible" and to "make the project freely available for porting to Linux and AmigaOS by any team interested in undertaking these conversions."
Hint of the editorial staff: We do not know, if "freely" means "for free" or "free" (within the meaning of "troublefree" and so on). The last meaning would imply to make payment of licence fees which would make an Amiga-port unlikely.

Hollywood essentials: Libraries for Hollywood developers
The "Hollywood essentials" are five libraries written by Fabio Falcucci which are supposed to provide useful functions for Hollywood developers.
The libraries in detail:
- HELPERS Library: A collection of functions to speed up common and repetitive tasks
- EASING Library: The easing library can be used to achieve smooth transitions between values. With it you can animate objects, fade colors and change values smoothly using one of the provided 41 transition functions.
- TABLES Library: This library exposes common functions to manipulate and convert tables
- DEBUG Library: With this library you can easily manage debug output to the console or to a log file. The console log system allow you to define channels and message types you can easily filter during the debug of your programs.
- FILESYSTEM Library: This library exposes common functions to manipulate files and check the file system.

Chris Hülsbeck starts Kickstarter-project "The Piano Collection"
After releasing the Turrican Soundtrack Anthology, Chris Hülsbeck has started his second project at Kickstarter: "Chris Huelsbeck - The Piano Collection & Limited Score Book". If you are going to support the project, then you can buy an album with well-known songs played with the pinao and written by Chris Hülsbeck.
Pianist will be Patrick Nevian who was also involved in both online albums Amiga Meets Piano. For all included songs there will be also the scores, which will be printed as limited edition and available for an additional charge.

Workbench-Distribution for UAE: AmiKit 8 with MUI4 and new Netsurf
AmiKit is a complete distribution for UAE-users and was now updated to version 8. Currently it is sold on a bootable USB-stick. A free download will be available later.

A-EON buys Personal Paint, full version removed from Aminet (2nd Update)
In a joint press release, A-EON and Cloanto announce that A-EON will exclusively develop and distribute all future versions of Cloanto's paint program Personal Paint. PPaint 7.3 for AmigaOS 3 and 4 is currently available through Amistore, the press release also mentions potential ports to AROS and MorphOS. Cloanto will continue to distribute version 7.2 with Amiga Forever.
At the request of the copyright holders, the full version of Personal Paint, which had been released on Aminet 17 years ago, has been removed from the archive yesterday. Approached by Amiga-News, Trevor Dickinson from A-EON states that they "plan to offer free downloads of historical Classic versions in the future".

AmigaOS 4: Fractal generator Fractals For SketchBlock 1.5
Andy Broad has released version 1.5 of his commercial fractal generator plugin for Sketchblock. Changes in this update:
- Themeing: if SketchBlock Lite has been purchased from AmiStore, Fractals For SketchBlock will adopt the current theme
- Smoothing: Iteration based colouring modes can now be smoothed, given even transition between colours
- Repeating Palette Mode: This new colouring mode uses one colour from the palette for each iteration step, giving greater control by allowing the user to create there own colour transitions. Works best with longer palettes with gradual colour changes (unless you want a stripey look :-)

AROS: AEROS beta version 8 for Raspberry Pi (free version)
Pascal Papara's Linux-based AROS-distribution AEROS for the small computer Raspberry Pi now is available as public beta version 8 (video). Registered users can download the new version under the title link. As usual the free version does not include the lx-command for launching Linux-programms from the Shell or the Wanderer and is available in the indieGO!-Appstore.
Changes:
- Better compatibility with different SD-cards (8 GB or more is required)
- Supports now Raspberry Pi model B+ and A
- Changed theme for Linux app to one with less hunger for ressources
- Epiphany webbrowser with HW-accelerated HTML5 (YouTube is working, HTML5 games as well)
- Latest Debian Wheezy system files
- Enabled AROS network stack at boot so games and software requiring this will work now (for example Abuse)
- Removed old unnecessary stuff
Pascal Papara has changed his Ebay offer for the new Raspberry-Pi models. He ships MicroSD-cards with adapters for the old models.
If there are any problems concerning the speed of downloads from his Appstore, he recommends to edit the chunk size in the file "app-dlm.prefs" using a text editor. Instead of using the default setting of 64, the figures 128, 256, 512 and so on can be checked out.

Lázár Zoltán has released a second alpha version of his SQLite Manager (screenshot). Using this Hollywood-programm it is possible to create, open and edit databases. It is also possible to convert Open-XML spreadsheet files. The programm is available for all Amiga systems (under AROS only for x86).
"Main new feature is the ability to create queries by the SQL Select command or by interactively select corresponding items. The queries can transfer to new separate windows in any quantity."

Meta compiler: PortablE r6-14-07-2013b (beta)
An update for PortablE has been released which is a fix for the latest Software Development Kit (SDK) of AmigaOS 4.1. Most likely AmiDevCpp will not compile programms for AmigaOS 4 until this compiler is also adapated to the new SDK.
Christopher Handley's meta compiler PortablE is an enhancement for the programming language Amiga E and translate it into other ones with "the aim of being portable across many platforms."
In this release 6, graphics, sound, music & GUI modules have been added. Additionally there is a PortablE-forum. First of all PortablE supports AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS, partly AmigaOS 3.x and rudimentarily Windows.

Clockport Expander II
Matthias Münch's "Clockport Expander II" is an adapter which can connect two clockport extensions to the clockport of an Amiga 1200. The second generation of the adapter is compatible with current busboards and other extensions, e.g. a BlizzardVision or a GRex-busboard.

Workbench enhancement: BetterWB 3.9
Similar to AIAB, AmiKit or AmigaSYS, BetterWB is a collection of Workbench enhancements for AmigaOS 3.1, which are useful but rather simple and therefore require low hardware configuration.

Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 2.5.20dev
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD is based on WinUAE and can be completely controlled with a joypad. Since the last stable version released in March (2.4.1), so far only developer versions have been released.

MorphOS: Word processor Calimero 0.1
Carsten Siegner is about to develop a new word processor for MorphOS. A first alpha version of "Calimero" now has been released (screenshot).

Event: Picture galleries of "Saku" (Finnland, 20. September)
"Saku 2014" took place on September, 20th in Tampere (Finland) and according to the organizers about 200 up to 300 visitors attended it. Among others Petro Tyschtschenko and Mike Battilana (Cloanto) were special guests.
The Finnish Amiga User Group now has publsihed some picture galleries of the event (some other external picture galleries are linked on the official website of the event):

WHDLoad: New packages until 15.11.2014

Gloom Deluxe: New maps and characters
Czesław 'Leon' Mnich created an archive containing many new levels and examples made by him with the easy-to-use editor Maped. It also includes new weapons and characters from Star Wars and Doom as well as programs written by Robert Szacki to import pictures and objects into Gloom. Furthermore there are two articles in polish by Czesław Mnich on Exec.pl: one about Maped and one how to create, Gloom objects, guns, sound effects and more.

Retro Game Calendars 2015
An user has created different desk calendars (PDF) with retrogaming motives which can be printed. Old CD cases can be used to present them. There are calendars with Amiga, C64, ZX Spectrum, ZX 81 and SMS motives.
