 Workbench distribution: AmiKit XE 11.8.0 for Windows/Mac/Linux
An update to version 11.8.0 has been released for the workbench distribution AmiKit, which is intended for emulators. In addition to an emulator, AmigaOS 3.x and the Kickstart ROMs are required.

The changes include among others updates to MUI 5 and AmiSSL 5.1 as well as the latest versions of IBrowse (demo), Hollywood Player and AmigaAMP:

 Kickstarter campaign: The Gaming Chronicles - Episode 1 - The Amiga 500
Nicola Caulfield & Anthony Caulfield from London have produced films documenting the video games industry, in addition to various other documentaries for cinemas, broadcast and advertising. Their work includes "From Bedrooms to Billions", the history of the British video games industry from 1979 to the present day, released in 2014, and the sequel "From Bedrooms to Billions", entitled "The Amiga Years", released in May 2016 (amiga-news.de reported). more ...  Video: 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast #127 - Chip-RAM upgrade with RAMesses
In issue 127 of his videocast 10MARC, Douglas Compton upgrades his Amiga 500 to 2MB Chip RAM using RAMesses introduced by us at the end of March: with this board developed by Andrew Hutchings it is possible to upgrade an Amiga 500, 2000 or the Commodore CDTV without soldering or cutting the motherboard.
