Golem: German court confirmed validity of GPL
As Golem.de reported, has the district court Munich acknowledged the GNU General Public Licence (GPL) as general terms of trade. They say that this would be the worldwide first court decision on the basis of the GPL. Further (German) information regarding this decision can be found following the title link.

The AmigaOS4 beta tester Crisot has created another inofficial video that shows this time the PPC native graphics system in conjunction with the PPC native video player "MooVId" that will be part of the AmigaOS4 release as standard program.

Tales of Tamar at the Games Convention in Leipzig

Amiga celebrates 19th anniversary
Exactly 19 years ago, on July 23th, 1985 the first Amiga which is the Amiga 1000
was introduced to publicity in Lincoln Center in New York.
Famous persons like Andy Warhol and Debbie were present and celebrated
the birth of the first multimedia computer of the world.
After one year the European premiere took place in Frankfurt (Main).

AutoDocReader Now Also Available in an AmigaOS Version
Up to now it's only been for MorphOS but now the display program AutoDocReader (current version 0.88) is available at version 0.7 also for AmigaOS 3.x (adapted by MiniQ) and AmigaOS4 (adapted by Zerohero).

Feelin: New object orientated system for AmigaOS
Feelin is a new object orientated system for AmigaOS, which
consists of two compounds: the feelin.library (completely
written in assembler) as kernel and the expandable
system to create graphic user interfaces.

HD installer: WHDLoad 16.3, new packages until July, 17th

IOSPIRIT: fxSCAN 4.06 available
In the download-area of IOSPIRIT an update-archive from version 4.0,
4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.04 and 4.05 of fxSCAN to V4.06 is now available
for download to registered customers. Changes include a fix for some rare problems with PDF-export. A detailed list of changes can be found in the update archive. fxSCAN 4 is currently available at a special price.

The Israeli company Zend is responsible for the core of the free script language PHP that has been released recently in version 5 and offers commercial products for PHP. PHP 5 comes with many new functions that are partly due to the reworked object support of the Zend Engine II. Golem.de talked to Zend founder Zeev Suraski about the new possibilities but also about limitations of PHP.«

AmigaOS 4: Playstation emulator 'FPSE'
Mathias Roslund has ported the Playstation emulator 'FPSE' to AmigaOS 4. The port has not been tested extensively yet, the GUI is not ported to PPC code yet and there's no Warp3D support available.

AmiWest 2004: UGN will broadcast
As every year the Amiga User Group Network (UGN) will report of the AmiWest
which is the biggest Amiga event in North America which will take place on July, 24th/25th.
We will broadcast via webcam as well as audio and video streams. The highlights will be the
