First report of experiences of new USB-card from E3B
Under the title link a user gives a first impression of a prototype of the new USB-controller from E3. The Zorro 3-card is supposed to replace the well-known Highway, can now handle DMA- and PIO-modi and is called "Deneb".

Event: AmiWest 2007 - Update
According to the organizers the AmiWest will take place a day later in Sacramento, California because of a misunderstanding of the Hotel. The AmiWest now will take place on Sunday 21. October.

File manager: Filemaster 3.1 Beta 7

Amiga Future: Gallery Update
Press release The Amiga Future Gallery has been updated considerably the last days. There is a new wallpaper section where users can put their own wallpapers online and make them available to others.
The games screenshots section is new aswell. We will publish every screenshot we have in this gallery. The first 1000 are already online.

Ron van Schaik writes: This time we organize a C= Show especially for the Amiga and Commodore fans and users in the very south part of Holland, Kerkrade. Also very easy to reach for Belgian and German fans from that region. This extra show will be on saturday september 22th from 10:00 till 16:00 at Gemeenschapshuis Heilust, Kerkrade, Limburg (Holland). Entrance is as usually for free!

Podcast Receiver: AmiPodder 1.7
AmiPodder by Robert Williams is an ARexx program that makes possible receiving so-called podcasts. In addition to MUI, including the classes NList, NListTree and TheBar, RxMUI is required, too.
In version 1.7, podcasts that demand authentication can be played back as well. In addition, the Amplifier program is supported for playback. The remaining improvements concern better podcast feed compatibility as well as checking the required libraries and MUI classes, in addition to bugfixes.

Press release: The most important change of the recent release of the Win32 drivers for the Catweasel are visible in the imagetool, which now supports many new disk formats and has new graphical functions. After a long wait, the Apple floppy formats of older Macintosh computers (400KByte and 800KByte per disk) and the Apple IIe series are now supported.

MorphOS: OpenTTD 0.5.3 (update)
OpenTTD is an open-source clone of the well-known PC strategy game "Transport Tycoon Deluxe" from the 90's with many enhancements - a network mode, individual graphic sets and adaptations to over two dozen languages, among other things.
Compared with the "release candidates" released so far, numerous minor bugs were fixed in the newest version. OpenTTD requires files of the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe game.

AmiKit: Results of the wallpaper competition
Under the title link the winners of the wallpaper vote for AmiKit were announced. The three best voted Workbench background pictures will be included as official wallpapers from the next version onwards of this AmigaOS-distribution for WinUAE-users. The artists will be rewarded with prizes.
