Online articles read better than newspapers
The reading behavior of online articles differs from that of print articles - but in favor of online texts, where the break-off rate lies lower. This is the result of a study by the Poynter Institute on behalf of the American Society of Newspaper Editors. Codex Alpe Adria 2007: T-shirts available
The Codex Alpe Adria - an event around alternative computing, which is organized every year by Cloanto's Amiga Forever Team in the Italian city of Udine - takes place in 2007 on the weekend of July 7th.

Emulator: E-UAE 0.8.29 WIP4
Richard Drummond has published a new beta version of his UAE-version E-UAE. Several bugs have been fixed and an experimental OpenGL-renderer added which accelerates the program under Mac OS X. You can find a complete list of all changes here.

Under the title link ports of E-UAE are available for AmigaOS 3/4 as well as Mac OS X and diverse Linux versions. Fabian Coeurjoly made available a MorphOS-version. (cg) (Translation: dr)

MorphOS: Arcade-Emulator MAME 0.113
Fabien Coeurjoly has published an update of the Multi Arcade Machine Emulator which emulates several arcade-machines. Because the MAME-Core has changed a great deal since the last MorphOS-version the MorphOS-port was done nearly completely new and has now an improved graphical user-interface and a lower sound latency. Besides this the video routines were optimated and the "Aspect ratio" is kept better.

Press release IOSPIRIT GmbH ends its Amiga business on the 1st of April 2007.
