Golem: German court confirmed validity of GPL
As Golem.de reported, has the district court Munich acknowledged the GNU General Public Licence (GPL) as general terms of trade. Amiga celebrates 19th anniversary
Exactly 19 years ago, on July 23th, 1985 the first Amiga which is the Amiga 1000
was introduced to publicity in Lincoln Center in New York.
Famous persons like Andy Warhol and Debbie were present and celebrated
the birth of the first multimedia computer of the world.
After one year the European premiere took place in Frankfurt (Main).

AutoDocReader Now Also Available in an AmigaOS Version

IOSPIRIT: fxSCAN 4.06 available
In the download-area of IOSPIRIT an update-archive from version 4.0,
4.01, 4.02, 4.03, 4.04 and 4.05 of fxSCAN to V4.06 is now available
for download to registered customers. Changes include a fix for some rare problems with PDF-export. A detailed list of changes can be found in the update archive. fxSCAN 4 is currently available at a special price.

The Israeli company Zend is responsible for the core of the free script language PHP that has been released recently in version 5 and offers commercial products for PHP. PHP 5 comes with many new functions that are partly due to the reworked object support of the Zend Engine II.
