Platformer: "The Game"
David Eriksson's "The Game" is an unfinished platformer written in AMOS. The game is fully playable, according to the author it only lacks "a title and a little bit of polish". AISS 4.19 released
Martin Merz has released an update of his "Amiga Image Storage System" (AISS) which is a system for managing toolbar images under AmigaOS and other systems.

AISS 4.19 has more than 7.900 images. Due to compatibility reasons alle pictures and animations of the previous version are included as well. (snx) (Translation: dr)

Sam460 customers can return AmigaOS 4.1 and get a refund
Three weeks ago, MorphOS 3.8 has been released, including support for the Sam460 motherboards from ACube. Now the Italian hardware vendor reacts to this development and offers his customers a refund if they want to return their copy of AmigaOS 4.1: If you return your AmigaOS DVD to ACube, ACube will pay you 48 Euros. more ... A-EON Technology: Announcement of MultiViewer
After Trevor Dickinson mentioned it in an interview, now the official press release (PDF) by A-EON Technology regarding the MultiViewer or MultiViewerNG is available.

Similar to MultiView developed by Commodore, the programm shows pictures but also text or AmigaGuide files, if the datatypes are available (screenshots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6; video). MultiViewer for AmigaOS 3.9 and MultiViewerNG for AmigaOS 4 will be available soon in the appstore AMIStore. (snx) (Translation: dr)

MorphOS: Calimero 0.14
Carsten Siegner's word processing software Calimero is still in development. Beta version 0.14 features different levels for objects and allows you to copy them to the clipboard, to cut and to paste them.

AmigaOS 4: Filemanager Dir Me Up 2.40
Jérôme 'Glames' Senays has released an update of his commercial filemanager "Dir Me Up".

Changes:
  • Create drawers:
    • Checkbox added to automatically go into new drawer after creation
    • Check added on non valid characters (:,//)
    • Possible input of slash (/) to create several drawers in a row
  • Volumes details now displayed in "text" preview field when selected
  • Quick double click comeback on files
  • Prefs: .wmv and .webm suffixes added like video

A-EON Technology acquired TuneNet
TuneNet is a programm written by Paul Heams for playing music inclusive Internet radio streams, which now was acquired by A-EON Technology (press release, PDF). MorphOS: Cross-Development-Server
