Jump and Run: WHDLoad-Install for Sqrxz
For the recently released port of Sqrxz for OCS-Amigas (screenshots) now a WHDLoad-Install was published with which the free disk image can be installed on harddrive. Additionally trainers were added for unlimited time and unlimited lives.

Simple picture editing program: AHIW 1.41 (AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, Windows)
Sirena AHIW is a simple picture editing program for handling pictures (screenshot).
Version 1.41 is available for AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and Windows and fixes a bug of the screenshot function.

MorphOS: Audio-converter Zormanita
Zormanita is another example for an application of the Reggae-library. The source code of the program is available as BSD-licence.
Currently Zormanita can convert AIFF-, 8SVX-, 16SV-, WAVE- and MP3-files into AIFF, WAVE or RAW. Each audio codec which is added to the system is automatically supported by Zormanita. The program has a graphical user-interface and supports Altivec.

Jump and Run: Sqrxz for OCS-Amigas available as download
The recently released port of Sqrxz for OCS Amigas is now available as free download in the form of an ADF image. The game requires at least Kickstart 1.2 as well one megabyte of memory, of which at least 512 KB should be ChipRAM. A version of the game which can be installed to a harddrive has already been announced.

AmigaOS 4: Atari-Emulator Hatari 1.6.2
For the Atari-ST/STE/Falcon-emulator Hatari a new update has been published. Additional to the new version 1.6.2 older versions are available as well which might be less accurate but faster. But on an Micro-A1 games run without breaks (video).
The changes are listed in the release notes.

MorphOS: Scriba 0.6.0
Scriba is a simple text processing softare which is still in development written by Carsten Siegner. With version 0.6.0 all limitations of importing OpenDocument text files of the previous version (amiga-news.de reported on it) were lifted. Additionally the TurboPrint print module was reworked.

Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 1.3.26
Frode Solheim's FS-UAE (screenshot) for Windows, Mac OS X 10.5+ (i386, PPC) and Linux (i386, AMD64) is based on WinUAE and can be completely controlled with a joypad.
Changes in version 1.3.26:
- Fix window manager icon lookup on Linux [grimi]
- (Launcher) Associate .fs-uae files with FS-UAE (windows installer)
- (Launcher) Expand ~/ and $HOME/ in paths from config files
- (Launcher) Fixed joystick matching when joystick name contains multiple adjacent spaces
- (Launcher) Set window icon for Linux also, in case the desktop environment does not pick up the .desktop file icon

AmigaOS 4 / MorphOS: AmiDARK-Engine 0.6
The AmiDARK-Engine written by Frédéric Cordier is a "Game Development Kit" inspired by DarkGDK. It is a collection of macros and functions for C-programmer which aims to simplify developing games. The changes of the (limited in time) demo version 0.6 are listed under the title link. Donators will get a full version.

UAE: AmiKit 1.6.2
AmiKit is a complete distribution for UAE-users and now is available as version 1.6.2. The update which is automatically installed if there is a previous version includes bug fixed audio file types for Magellan II as well as updated versions of 20 programms and components, e.g. AmIRC, NetSurf and Scalos. AmigaOS 4 / MorphOS / AROS: XAMOS 0.28
The latest alpha version 0.28 of the AMOS-reimplementation XAMOS now is available for AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS/x86.
The update adds an experimental hardware-accelerated OpenGL frontend. "This is currently disabled by default and not yet working correctly with all examples, or on all platforms." It can be set with the command line flag "-useopengl". "Background rainbows are now operational. The rainbows example has been updated."

AmigaOS 4: IntuitionBase updated
The website IntuitionBase offers an overview of AmigaOS-4-compatible software and hardware and now was updated with 140 applications, new hardware and articles. IntuitionBase will also be represented with an exhibition stand on the AmiWest.
Furthermore users have been asked to report their devices and programms which successfully work under AmigaOS 4 if they are not listed yet. Any tips and tricks are welcome which push the system to its best.

Hollywood: SQLite3-Plugin
Under the title link Andreas Falkenhahn has published a SQLite3-plugin for his multimedia programming language. With it SQL-databases can be created and edited by Hollywood scripts to add them to other projects. Example scripts also are availble.
