Puzzle game: Ami Robbo 2 V0.1
Paweł 'tukinem' Tukatsch's latest project will be a contribution to AmiGameJam 2024: Ami Robbo 2 is the successor to Amirobbo by Polish game developers Bernard Krzymowski and Artur 'Szafir' Szafrański, which was released in 1992. With his permission and assistance, new graphics and levels were created for the second part. Robbo is a universal combat robot that has got into trouble and needs to be rescued from abandoned military bases with the player's help.
The gameplay is based on the classic Sokoban but there are many other elements and a top-down view that Tukatsch invented. There will be a lot of graphics from different artists, and the animations themselves will be different and more rich. The early version 0.1 that has now been released implements basic control of the robot and interaction with objects.

Amiga emulator for MacOS: vAmiga V2.6.2 (update)
Starting with version 2.6.1, developer Dirk Hoffmann wants to make changes to the internal architecture of his Amiga emulator vAmiga for MacOS. The long-term goal is to port the new emulator architecture from VirtualC64 V5.0 to vAmiga in order to enable features such as Run-Ahead (background article). As the architectural changes are considerable, several intermediate versions will be part of this project.
The minimum system requirement for his emulator is macOS 11.0.
Update: (02.07.2024, 05:40, dr)
Version 2.6.2, which was released yesterday, fixes crashes in the configuration panel and restores the functionality of the RetroShell command "amiga defaults".

Reverse Engineering: Aira Force 0.7.4 for Windows, Linux and macOS
"Aira Force" is a tool for reverse engineering Amiga 680x0 software (amiga-news.de reported). It allows binaries to be disassembled and investigated (YouTube video).
This Update to version 0.7.4 introduces the correct support of labels. In addition, the latest beta version of the developer tool vasm has been integrated, which adds two new options:
- dbg-local adds local labels with their original name (like 1$ or .abc) to HUNK_SYMBOL.
- dbg-globloc adds local labels by trying to construct a name out of their preceding global label and the original local label name: global$local (Examples: main$1$, main$.abc).
This means that executables built with these options will automatically have correct names for local label symbols applied by the ira disassembler.

Chiptune tracker: Furnace V0.6.5 for Windows, Mac and Linux
'tildearrows' Furnace is a tool that can be used to create sound chip music ("chiptune"), mostly from the 8/16-bit era (amiga-news.de reported). It supports a wide range of functions and sound chips, from NES, SNES and Genesis to ES5506, VIC-20 and the Amiga. Version 0.6.5 introduces, among other things, the TIunA sound driver inspired by TIAtune, which uses rapid frequency switching to achieve pitches which otherwise are impossible, therefore facilitating music composition (YouTube video).
The songs can be exported as audio files (.wav), VGM files and ZSM files (for Commander X16). An manual is available.

Turn-based strategy game: New demo version of "Ecliptic"
Ecliptic is described by the author as "a mixture of turn based tactical combat and role playing" (amiga-news.de reported) being a visually reminiscent of the retro-futuristic science fiction of the 1970s and 1980s. Now a third demo has been released for the game which still is in development (YouTube video).
There's now sounds for robot movement and actions, monsters, weapon and item effects and some ambient background noises, too. Additionally the weapon effects have been improved - both in animations and the timing of hits. It's easier to see what's going on, especially with area effects.
The game requires 1MB RAM, recommended is an Amiga 1200 with HD and Fast RAM.
