Overview: Comparison of Operating Systems
Eylenburg's Tech Website is a truly amazing project in which a lot of hard work has gone into it: in several overviews and histories 'Eylenburg' offers, for example, Operating Systems: Timeline and Family Tree, Default Desktop Environments for Linux and Unix or Comparison of Instant Messengers - always presented with large-format tables and graphics. Of particular interest to Amiga users is the Comparison of Operating Systems, where AmigaOS and MorphOS have been listed for some time and now AROS has been added. But it is also worth taking a look at the above-mentioned Family Tree or History of Web Browser Engines from 1990 until today, in which IBrowse is also listed. more ... (dr)
