"AmigaDevBox" to support developers with OS4 porting
The aim of the project "AmigaDevBox" is to support developers without PPC hardware to port their projects to AmigaOS 4.

To make this possible AmigaOne owners are asked to help those developers by giving them access to their AmigaOnes in one or another way (e.g. via the Internet) or to compile/test projects for the developer.

Interested users as well as developers looking for help may register themselves under the title link on a world map or get an overview over the already registered persons. (cg) (Translation: wk)

IOSPIRIT: Onlineshop only available until 24th November 2004
Major internal reorganization efforts will make it necessary to deactivate the order function of the online shop on the 24th of November 2004. The time needed for these efforts is estimated with two weeks, but can be longer due to dependencies on external factors. The deactivation of the onlineshop thus happens for indefinite time. Customers who want to order software still this year thus should make their orders until the 24th of November 2004. In this context we also want to remind our customers of the still running fall promotion with price reductions of up to 75 %.

Apart from the ability to place new orders, all functions of the website will stay available as usual. (cg) (Translation: cg)

Genesi set up new official website for MorphOS
Genesi reports at the MorphZone they put their official website for MorphOS to a new address (title link) to deal with the latest issues regarding the development of MorphOS ( reported): The new official website for MorphOS is now to reach at

Currently the content is identical to the former site which was available at the old address, but it should be redesigned soon.

This new website by Genesi is set up in accordance with Ralph Schmidt said Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck. He is still owner of the major part of MorphOS and shareholder of Genesi/bplan. A fruitful discussion with David Gerber and Stefan Stuntz regarding the future is welcome, but nonetheless development will continue.

The upset developers reacted on the launch of the new site immediately and put at the following statement: "2004-11-17: Genesi is setting up a fake website claiming they own MorphOS. By doing so, they infringes on our copyright. Any version of MorphOS distributed with a new Pegasos is illegal since our contracts have not been honoured. Licenses are withdrawn."
