Verschlüsselungsprotokoll: AmiSSL 5.11 (AmigaOS 3/4)
Version 5.11 des Open-Source-Verschlüsselungsprotokolls AmiSSL wurde veröffentlicht, die nun auf der neuesten Version von OpenSSL 3.1.3 (19.9.2023) basiert und damit verschiedene kleinere Korrekturen bietet, einschließlich der Beseitigung von Speicherlecks. Darüberhinaus wurden die Root-Zertifikate auf das neueste Mozilla-basierte Bundle vom 22.8.2023 aktualisiert.

Printmagazin: Amiga Germany, Ausgabe 8
"Amiga Germany" hat seinen Ursprung in einer gleichnamigen Facebook-Gruppe, das Magazin im A5-Format kümmert sich schwerpunktmäßig um die Spiele- und Demo-Szene auf dem Amiga. Die achte Ausgabe, die nun vorbestellt werden kann und zur Amiga38 erscheinen soll, wird 60 Seiten umfassen und folgende Themen beinhalten:

MorphOS: Terminplaner PolyOrganiser 1.21
PolyOrganiser von Frederic 'Polymere' Rignault ist ein sogenanntes "PIM-Tool" (Personal Information Management), mit dem sich Termine, Kontakte und Aufgaben verwalten lassen. Die Änderungen seit Version 1.16:
- Fix: Task edit, due date broken at creation (1970) and ignore very old due date too.
- Add: Task edit, add a context menu entry for remote due date.
- Fix: Task display, late date are bold. Fix no title display. Fix Columns weight.
- Change: Task list, use short date
- Fix: Contact diplay "no name" when name or company is blank.
- Fix: Contact/Event/Task, ask confiration for remove show "No name" when needed.
- Fix: Remove edit of task categories in main window due to a unfixable bug.
- Fix: Fix backgound & frames of popup objects (except Task type that have fixed back...)
- Fix:Task edit show wrond type
- Fix: Sort of contacts that was kind of random.
- Patch: Replace "Jabber" data type for "Title"
- Fix: DueDate broken due to stuoid datestamp copy
- Fix: Workaround some issue with duplicate ids in packed event storage which are used for both event item ids as

- Fix: Fixed a use-after-free for notification once the close window button of the search window was
hit and which caused a crash once PERMMEMTRACK kernel option was enabled
- Fix: Fixed some bug in some intermediate 1.18 version that always deleted the last record for each launch of the
program
- Fix: Icon sizes of top navigation bar back to 100% (from 80%) again after some intermediate change
- Rework: Code to create the DateIcon AppIcon uses Reggae instead of a direct PNG decoder now
- Fix: fixed some bug that triggered PERMMEMTRACK because the app tried to free some static application memory on
some string
- Fix: Fixed some incompatibility with MorphOS PERMMEMTRACK option due to some access to already freed memory
- Fix: Fixed hits caused by 2nd launch of PolyOrga
Fix: Fixed some possible illegal access when the database is opened or past events are checked on launch

Plattformer: Updates für alle vier Teile der Boxx-Reihe
Der Entwickler 'Lemming880' hat sowohl Updates für die drei Teile seiner Boxx-Remake-Reihe, als auch für den vierten Teil veröffentlicht. Alle vier Teile verwenden nun die gleiche Scorpion-Engine-Version. Die Änderungen in der Übersicht:
Version 1.01 des Boxx-1-Remakes:
- Menu: replaced quit with options.
- Menu options and jukeboxx: replaced coin with arrow.
- Menu: removed boxx splash screen.
- Music: swapped songs of levels 3 and 4.
- Sound: changed break block sound effect to original.
- In-game: turrets shoot a bit faster.
- In-game: added boss health bar.
- In-game: moving bricks explode instead of dropping a coin.
- In-game: removed alarm lights in boss arena.
- Removed unnecessary files.
Version 1.00 des Boxx-2-Remakes:
- In-game: turrets shoot faster.
- In-game: moving bricks explode instead of dropping a coin.
- In-game: closed a tile gap in level 2.
- Removed unnecessary files.
Version 1.00 des Boxx-3-Remakes:
- In-game: turrets shoot faster.
- In-game: moving bricks explode instead of dropping a coin.
- In-game: bounce blocks only in hard mode.
- In-game: closed a gap in level 2.
- In-game: flying boss pod doesn't make a shooting sound anymore after the main boss died.
- In-game: flying boss pod now drops a bomb on hard mode instead of exploding.
- Removed unnecessary files.
Version 1.04 von Boxx-4:
- In-game: reintroduced faster shooting turrets in the flying levels.
- In-game: level 2: water collision a little bit lower at the fish jump before the boss.
- In-game: level 5: fixed end boss arena for a situation where the boss could temporary get stuck.
- Menu Options: removed Performance Mode and added Default Settings option.
- Menu Info: rearranged text at the bottom.
- Menu Credits: changed text 'box art' with 'print design'.

Vergangenes Jahr waren wir nicht ganz glücklich über das Catering und die damit verbundenen Preise im Kunstwerk. Hier konnten wir einen Teilerfolg erzielen und die Getränkepreise ein Stück weit senken:
- Softdrinks und Bier: 3,50 Euro
- Wasser: 2,90 Euro
- Kaffee: 2,80 Euro
Daneben werden folgende Speisen angeboten (neuer Koch, bessere Qualität ;) ):
- Frikadelle mit Brot 3,90 Euro
- Frikadelle mit Kartoffelsalat 4,90 Euro
- Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat 6,90 Euro
- Schnitzel mit Brot 5,90 Euro
- Currywurst geschnitten - mit Brot 5,90 Euro
- Veganer Gemüse-Kartoffel-Eintopf 4,90 Euro
- Stück Blechkuchen zur Auswahl 2,90 Euro
Bitte beachtet, dass wieder nur Kartenzahlung möglich sein wird!
Ebenfalls wird in diesem Jahr eine zweite Bar geöffnet, so dass alles ein wenig entzerrt wird. An der einen Bar gibt es Getränke, an der anderen die Speisen.
- Update 3
Wir haben noch einmal alle Ticketbestellungen geprüft und dabei festgestellt, dass einige bereits vor mehreren Wochen bestellt, aber nie bezahlt wurden.
Diese haben wir nun noch einmal freigegeben. Die nun im Shop verfügbaren sind die letzten für die Amiga38.
- Update 4
Das Programm für den Freitagabend steht nun. Gegen 20 Uhr wird das Get Together im oberen Bereich eröffnet. Ab ca. 20:15 Uhr startet ein kleines Buffet und das gesellige Beisammensein. Wer ein Ticket für das Get Together erworben hat, hat dabei drei Getränke (Softdrinks, Wasser, Bier) inklusive, ebenso die Möglichkeit, sich an den bereitgestellten Speisen zu bedienen:
- Wraps mit Käse oder Pute gefüllt
- Currywurst
- Frikadellen
- Kartoffelsalat mit einer Mini-Geflügel-Frikadelle
- Brot
- Knabbersachen
Gegen 20:45 Uhr starten wir mit der Reshoot-Proxima-3-Release-Party und werden hierzu Richard Löwenstein und Martin Amann auf der Bühne begrüßen. Hinzugesellen wird sich ebenfalls Michael Kafke, dessen Spiel "ASM - Das Computerspiel", ja ebenfalls passend zur Amiga38 gerade veröffentlicht wurde.
Anschließend wird Martin Amann für musikalische Untermalung sorgen.
Gegen 22 Uhr wird es dann einen Vortrag von André Kudra zur Demoszene geben und Siegfried Kärcher den Abend mit visuellen Effekten und Sounduntermalung abrunden.
Auf der Amiga38-Bühne schöpft er aus seinem reichhaltigen Fundus an Demos, Soundmodulen und Erinnerungen, die er seit den 1980er Jahren gesammelt hat. Mit Leidenschaft präsentiert er in Echtzeit audiovisuelle Kunstwerke, die sich rund um den Amiga drehen und den Besuchern der Messe einen faszinierenden Einblick in die große und kreative Amiga-Community bieten. Seine Werke entführen das Publikum in die Welt der Amigageschichte und zeigen die Vielfalt der kreativen Amigaszene.

AmigaOS 4: Plattformer REminiscence 0.5.1 (Flashback)
REminiscence ist eine neugeschriebene Engine für das Spiel Flashback von Delphine Software. Das Programm ist als plattformübergreifender Ersatz für das Originalspiel gedacht. Nach der von Bruno 'BeWorld' Peloille portierten MorphOS-Version hat George 'walkero' Sokianos nun die Engine auch auf AmigaOS 4 portiert. Die Originaldateien der PC- (DOS oder CD), Amiga- oder Macintosh-Version werden benötigt. (dr)

Vorschau-Video: Plattformer "Krogharr"
Neben dem Shoot'em Up Hyperblaster (Inviyya 2) arbeitet Michael 'Tigerskunk' Borrmann an dem Plattformer Krogharr, für das er nun ein erstes Vorschau-Video veröffentlicht hat und das auf einem Amiga 500 mit 1 MB RAM laufen soll. Eine erste Demoversion soll im Oktober erscheinen. (dr)
