 Musikprogramm: ProTrekkr 2.8.2 für AROS
ProTrekkr ist ein Tracker-Programm, das einen Software-Synthesizer mit einem traditionellen Samples-Tracker kombiniert. Es kann hauptsächlich zum Erstellen von elektronischer Musik (wie Psytrance, Trance, Goa, Hard Acid, IDM, Chip, Techno, Jungle usw.) für kleine Intros, Demos oder Spiele verwendet werden. Nun wurde die Version 2.8.2 für AROS (und weitere Systeme) veröffentlicht. Änderungen:
  • Patterns wouldn't scroll sometimes when starting to play, fixed.
  • Note volume from channels (volume columns and effects 03) are now handled in the velocity sent to midi output.
  • Changed LCTRL + F1 / F2 (Decrease / Increase editing step) to LCTRL + F2 / F4 due to Mac OS "interfering".
  • Fixed Midi handling on Linux and Mac OS.
  • Fixed the keyboard shortcuts on Mac OS.
  • Typos in the manual: Transpose to 1 octave higher shortcuts are LCTRL + K and LCTRL + LSHIFT + K.
  • Replaced pink noise with triangle waveform in synth.
  • White noise is now twice as loud to be on par with other waveforms loudness.
  • Added a function to hard sync OSC 1 to OSC 2.
  • Inserting or deleting a track didn't modify the other patterns data.
  • Fixed an ugly visual bug that occured when changing colors during playing.
  • Added tracks header foreground color modifier.
  • Sub oscillator can now be scaled from oscillator 1 by semitones.
  • Maths combiner functions are also used for sub oscillator.
  • Fixed various bugs here and there.
  • VU meters are now displayed on a single line and a much less sensitive.
  • Removed support for antediluvian NoiseTrekker 1/2 modules & instruments, they were only supported for salvage and conversion purposes.
  • Saving a pattern without any currently selected block will save the entire pattern into the file.
  • New logo !
  • Fixed Linux audio driver.

 Musikprogramm: ProTrekkr 2.8.1 für AROS und MorphOS (Update)
ProTrekkr ist ein Tracker-Programm, das einen Software-Synthesizer mit einem traditionellen Samples-Tracker kombiniert. Es kann hauptsächlich zum Erstellen von elektronischer Musik (wie Psytrance, Trance, Goa, Hard Acid, IDM, Chip, Techno, Jungle usw.) für kleine Intros, Demos oder Spiele verwendet werden. Nun wurde die Version 2.8.1 für AROS (und weitere Systeme) veröffentlicht. Änderungen:
  • Channels LFO carriers are now properly reseted at playing start.
  • Channels LFO data can now be sent to the channel filter cutoff, volume and panning.
  • Added a channel LFO frequency scaler.
  • Added these effects:
    • 43: Set channel LFO frequency.
    • 44: Set channel LFO frequency scale ratio.
    • 45: Set channel LFO amount to send to the channel filter cutoff.
    • 46: Set channel LFO amount to send to the channel volume.
    • 47: Set channel LFO amount to send to the channel panning.
  • Fixed a very old NoiseTrekker bug where LFO values sent to the channels filter were lost because they were too big and clamped.
  • Fixed a nasty regression that occurred in 64 bit compiled versions.

 AROS: Musikprogramm ProTrekkr 2.8.0
ProTrekkr ist ein Tracker-Programm, das einen Software-Synthesizer mit einem traditionellen Samples-Tracker kombiniert. Es kann hauptsächlich zum Erstellen von elektronischer Musik (wie Psytrance, Trance, Goa, Hard Acid, IDM, Chip, Techno, Jungle usw.) für kleine Intros, Demos oder Spiele verwendet werden. Nun wurde die Version 2.8.0 für AROS (und weitere Systeme) veröffentlicht. Änderungen:
  • Added a function to negate the current palette.
  • Added two functions to rotate the current palette on the left or right.
  • Re-arranged bitchbiker.ptk and added it into the official list of modules.
  • Changed the behaviour of the single step mode, plays only stops when enter (or return) key is depressed and only the current pattern is played (press Left Shift to go into song mode).
  • Added a function to transpose a range of instruments.
  • Patterns modifications functions are only active when edition mode is on.
  • Transposition functions now keep track of last used instruments to be able to transpose relevant notes used without instruments.
  • Stopping step mode will keep edit mode intact.
  • Sample "Maximize" (Max) is now called "Normalize" (Norm) in samples editor.
  • More visual feedback for currently played sample in samples editor.
  • Added the option to show/clear leading zeroes digits in patterns.
  • Added patterns sliders edition mode (check manual for explanations). Note: This mode can be quite CPU intensive.
  • Fixed various bugs in patterns edition.
  • Channels VU meters were drawn way to many times over each others, fixed.
  • Fixed the audio levels of the channels VU meters.
  • Modified the reverb (should sound better (?)) also added a damp parameter (had to rework some modules due to this).
  • Added effect 2C: Set reverb damp ratio.
  • Improved the volume ramping.
  • Added LCTRL + LALT + HOME / END keyboard shortcuts (jump to top/first track or bottom/last track of a pattern).
  • Added Enter or Return keys for single step play.
  • Fixed channels multi polyphony allocations.
  • Fixed the fullscreen mode switching under AROS.
  • Added an OpenGL executable in AROS distribution (ptk_aros_ogl) for some reason i don't explain it may be slower than the regular one, your mileage may vary.

 Texteditor: Lite XL 2.1.7r1 für AmigaOS 4 und MorphOS
George 'walkero' Sokianos hat seine Portierung des SDL-basierten Texteditors Lite XL aktualisiert. Das Update macht die Änderungen aus der offiziellen Lite XL 2.1.7-Veröffentlichung jetzt auch für Amiga-Anwender zugänglich, außerdem wurden die Einstellungen deutlich überarbeitet und einige Plugins werden direkt mit dem Editor ausgeliefert.  Obligement: Update der Amiga Games List
Die von David Brunet seit April 1991 gepflegte "Amiga Games List" ist nach eigenen Angaben die umfangreichste ihrer Art im Internet und wurde gestern u.a. um 254 Neuererscheinungen bzw. Aktualisierungen des vergangenen Jahres ergänzt.

Zudem werden nun Spiele in Maschinensprache mitgezählt und es wurden weitere Herausgeber von Public-Domain-Spielen ergänzt wie Software 2000 und die Aminet-CD-Reihe. Daneben kann die Amiga Games List als CSV- bzw. Excel-Datei heruntergeladen werden.

Die Liste umfasst nun 14.648 Spiele, Level-Editoren, Daten-Disks, Erweiterungen und Interpreter, die sich wie folgt auf die einzelnen Kategorien verteilen:

  • 490 Erweiterungs- oder Daten-Disks
  • 158 Spiel- oder Level-Editoren

 Chat-Software: AmigaGPT 2.2.0 mit ApolloOS-Support
Cameron Armstrong hat mit AmigaGPT ein Chatprogramm geschrieben, das auf ChatGPT basiert. Die Software unterstützt die neuesten OpenAI-Modelle einschließlich der o1-Familie und ist ab AmigaOS 3.1 (einschließlich 4.1) sowie auf MorphOS lauffähig. Sourcecodes des Tools sind separat herunterladbar.

In der neuen Version wird nun auch ApolloOS (amiga-news.de berichtete) unterstützt. Außerdem wurden folgende Änderungen und Bugfixes vorgenommen:
  • Die Bildvorschau funktioniert jetzt in MorphOS und in MUI 3 (AmigaGPT hat jetzt MCC_Guigfx als Voraussetzung)
  • Austausch der Chat-Ausgabeabschnitte von der Klasse MCC_TextEditor zu MCC_NFloattext für eine verbesserte Speichernutzung und Kompatibilität mit ApolloOS
  • Verbesserte Kodierung zu und von UTF-8 mit verbessertes Zeichenremapping (AmigaGPT nutzt jetzt codesets.library als Voraussetzung)
  • Behebung des Absturzes, wenn der erste von OpenAI empfangene Datenblock kleiner als der HTTP-Header ist
  • Behebung des Absturzes, wenn OpenAI eine leere Inhaltszeichenfolge sendet

 Entwicklerwerkzeuge: vasm 2.0a und vlink 0.18
Frank Wille hat vasm, einen portablen Assembler für zahlreiche CPUs mit verschiedenen Syntax- und Output-Modulen, sowie vlink, einen portablen Linker für zahlreiche Object-, Executable- und Binär-Formate, aktualisiert.

Die Änderungen bei vasm V2.0a:
  • Fixed bad path in source level debugging information, when the initial source file and an include file were based on the same "compile directory".
  • Get rid of C99-round() dependency.
  • Fixed empty strings, which were broken in V2.0. They should not generate any data.
  • When position-independant code is requested (-pic option) the assembler defaults to relocatable mode (to be able to detect violations).
  • Allow 64-bit (or more) expressions with absolute label addresses.
  • 6502: Additionally allow BRK with an immediate 8-bit operand.
  • 6502: Operand prefix character '?' can be used to select the Memory/Bank-ID where the referenced symbol resides. Requires the use of VOBJ and vlink.
  • mot-syntax: A double colon after the label also exports RS symbols now.
  • madmac-syntax: New directives: ifdef and ifndef (just for convenience, they are no official MadMac directives!).
  • madmac-syntax: Fix problem with print-directive when string is empty.
  • oldstyle-syntax: Fixed usage of '$' as current-PC symbol for Z80, which was broken since V2.0.
  • oldstyle-syntax: Fixed definition of structure offset labels, which should be referenceable by structname.offsetname. Broken since V2.0.
  • hunk-output: Fixed output generated by Databss directives (like DX in mot-syntax). Broken in V2.0.
  • hunk-output: -linedebug: do not generate multiple entries per line.
Die Änderungen bei vlink 0.18:
  • Define for each relocation type whether it is signed, unsigned or unknown, to provide better range checks.
  • Make the range-checking work with sign-extended addresses (Example: m68k 16-bit absolute addressing).
  • When an output section's memory region has not enough space the linker will look for the next matching output section.
  • Linker script function KEEP() now really prevents garbage collection of sections.
  • Sorting and exclusion functions for linker script section patterns: SORT_BY_ALIGNMENT(), SORT_BY_NAME(), SORT_BY_SIZE(), REVERSE(), EXCLUDE_FILE(), EXCLUDE_SECTION(). Supporting up to two sorting levels.
  • The output section's bank size can be defined by (BANKSIZE=n) in the script, so input sections may not cross bank borders. In that case they will be aligned to the beginning of the next bank.
  • Linker script MEMORY definitions now support an optional ID=n argument, where n defines an identification value which can be referenced by a VOBJ-specific relocation type (MEMID).
  • Can find first executable code-section now, when no start symbol is present.
  • Portable pattern matching routine, used for Windows and TOS, did case-insensitive string comparisons in the past.
  • Absolute symbols are printed as a separate section into the map file.
  • Support LINKONCE section flag.
  • New options -symfile, -symfmt and -symctrl to output symbol/value pairs into a file using the given printf-format string.
  • New options -obe and -ole to specify the endianess of octets within a target-byte (when it has more than 8 bits) when writing the contents of a section to a file system.
  • New option -lineoffsets to output a separate file with source line offsets per section.
  • New option -mattr to merge all sections with same attributes, when linking without a linker script.
  • The target file formats rawbin1 and rawbin2 were replaced by a common rawbin format. rawbin2 is now -brawbin with -multifile option. The old target names are still supported for backwards compatibility.
  • New target file formats "foenixpgx-c02", "foenixpgx-816", "foenixpgz-24" and "foenixpgz-32" for Foenix retro computers.
  • New target file format "appleomf" can generate relocatable load-files for Apple IIgs computers.
  • Merge options -mrel, -mtype and -mall also work with -r now, when creating a new relocatable object file.
  • Linker script commands BYTE, SHORT, LONG, QUAD, SQUAD do now create 1, 2, 4 or 8 target-bytes and no longer 8, 16, 32, 64-bit values.
  • Relocatable/Abs symbols with the same name have precedence before Common symbols and do not cause a multiple-definition error.
  • Starting vlink without arguments only shows a short list of options now. For a detailed description use -h, which also includes target-specific options selected by -b.
  • Fixed output section trimming in the linker script.
  • Fix error message for unknown target file formats (-b).
  • (ados/ehf) New option -kick1 makes sure the generated executable is comaptible with the Kickstart 1.x loader.
  • (ados/ehf) Allow symbol redefinitions from pulled library units, as long as their target CPU differs (M68k/PPC WarpOS mixed binaries). This only worked for symbols from code sections, since V0.17.
  • (elf) Fixed uninitialized .plt at end of text segment.
  • (tos) Can use DRI object files and libraries as input now. HiSoft and SozobonX symbol name extensions are supported.
  • (tos) TOS executable files do work as input and DRI objects as output (-r).
  • (tos) Enable SozobonX symbol names with -tos-sozobonx.
  • (tos) Disable the HiSoft symbol name extension in executables with -tos-stddri.
  • (rawbin) Fixed missing byte in the ORIC tape header and automatically remove a ".tap" extension from the name stored there.
  • (rawbin) IHEX supports architectures with more than 8 bits per byte. But note that the address is still incremented in 8-bit steps.
  • (rawbin) Make sure the file size is even, when using a QDOS header.
  • (rawbin) Fixed raw reloc table output (-q) for a relocation at offset 0.
  • (rawbin) New options -fill, -coalesced and -multifile (previously rawbin2).
  • (vobj) Supports -r option to output a relocatable VOBJ file. Option -vobj2 may be used to write that file in VOBJ v2 format.
  • (vobj) -vobjcpu option selects the name of the target CPU.
  • (vobj) Supports VOBJ v2 format (vasm -Fvobj -vobj2) and PPC non-standard relocations (EABI, MorphOS, AmigaOS).
  • (xfile) Entry address is written to the header.
  • (xfile) New option -x-high sets the high-address flag in the header.

 MorphOS: 10. Alphaversion der PanelApp
Seit anderthalb Jahren arbeitet Stefan 'Kronos' Kleinheinrich an seinem wiederaufgenommenen Vorhaben, die praktisch seit MorphOS 1.4 unveränderten Panels des Betriebssystems zu überarbeiten.

Der öffentliche Test der Alphaversionen wird im entsprechenden Thread der MorphZone begleitet. Mit deren nunmehr veröffentlichter Nummer 10 sei der Punkt erreicht, wo Ambient selber überarbeitet werden müsse, weshalb künftige Tests nicht mehr mit einer allgemein verfügbaren Fassung der MorphOS-Workbench möglich seien. Wer Interesse hat, kann solange den bisherigen Stand der PanelApp antesten.

 Chat-Software: AmigaGPT 2.1.1 (Update)
Cameron Armstrong hat mit AmigaGPT ein Chatprogramm geschrieben, das auf ChatGPT basiert. Die Software unterstützt die neuesten OpenAI-Modelle einschließlich der o1-Familie und ist ab AmigaOS 3.1 (einschließlich 4.1) sowie auf MorphOS lauffähig. Sourcecodes des Tools sind separat herunterladbar.

Mit dem neuen Update unterstützt AmigaGPT nun auch Proxy-Server.

Soeben wurde die Version 2.1.1 veröffentlicht, die eine klarere Fehlermeldung enthält, sofern die vom Benutzer installierte AmiSSL-Version zu alt ist.

 AROS: Bounty-Projekte zur EFI-Anpassung in Planung
Unter dem Titellink hat Timothy 'terminills' Deters eine Liste von Bounty-Projekten für AROS zu erstellen begonnen, welche aktuell noch ausdetailliert werden, um anschließend zum Spenden und Umsetzen veröffentlicht werden sollen. Ziel dieser Bounties ist es, AROS an den BIOS-Nachfolger EFI anzupassen. (snx)

 MorphOS: Webbrowser Wayfarer 9.0
Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek hat die Version 9.0 seines Webbrowsers Wayfarer für MorphOS veröffentlicht, die auf der stabilen WebKitGTK 2.46.5 aufsetzt (amiga-news.de berichtete). Zudem wurden für dieses Update mehrere Libraries (cURL, tasn, xml2, nghttp2) aktualisiert. (nba)

 Chat-Software: AmigaGPT 2.0.2 mit MorphOS-Version (2. Update)
Cameron Armstrong hat mit AmigaGPT ein Chatprogramm geschrieben, das auf ChatGPT basiert. Die Version 2.0.0 ersetzt nun ReAction durch MUI 5 (mit Abwärtskompatibilität zu MUI 3), ist jetzt völlig kompatibel mit AmigaOS 3.1 und liegt auch nativ für MorphOS vor. Zudem werden die neuesten OpenAI-Modelle einschließlich der o1-Familie unterstützt.

 Printmagazin: ASM (Aktueller Software Markt), Ausgabe 12/24
Pressemitteilung: Nach dem großen Erfolg der ASM-Revival-Ausgabe 3/23 legt das Redaktionsteam nun nach: Mit der Nummer 12/24 ist die diesjährige Ausgabe der ASM ("Aktueller Software Markt") jetzt erschienen und kann ab sofort bei amigashop.org bestellt werden. Die aktuelle Zeitschrift bietet einen weitreichenden Überblick über die Retro-Neuerscheinungen vom Sommer 2023 bis zum Herbst 2024, berücksichtigt werden die klassischen Computersystem von A wie Amiga bis Z wie ZX Spectrum, und zwar in über 40 Tests für insgesamt 12 verschiedene Computersysteme.

Was gibt es außerdem in der neuen Ausgabe der ASM?
  • Manfred Kleimann ließ es sich nicht nehmen, erneut das Vorwort zu verfassen – außerdem bekämpfte er noch einmal den Großen Londoner Brand von 1666, während Martina Strack nach 30 Jahren den Lemmingen erneut unter die Arme griff und Klaus 'Cruiser' Segel auf dem Paradroid-Deck aufräumte.
  • Großen Dank gebührt auch Torsten Oppermann, der sich für ASM mit Chris Hülsbeck und Julian Eggebrecht traf, um über alte und neue Zeiten zu sprechen und uns daran teilhaben zu lassen.
  • Clem Chambers, Chef der berühmt-berüchtigten Softwarefirma CRL, berichtet, wie es war, in den 80ern eine Softwareschmiede zu leiten und was er danach gemacht hat.
  • Michael Kafke erzählt uns so ziemlich alles über das ASM-Adventure, Stefan Vogt plaudert aus dem Nähkästchen und stellt uns Hibernated 2 vor (während wir sein Meisterwerk "The Ghosts of Blackwood Manor" genauer unter die Lupe nehmen).
  • Die Leserumfrage aus der letzten Ausgabe wird aufgelöst, es gibt einen Programmierwettbewerb (mal wieder...) und noch die eine oder andere Überraschung.
  • Und natürlich sind auch alle Rubriken der letzten Ausgabe wieder mit an Bord, ebenso Donald Bug, der dieses Mal alle Hüllen fallen lässt ...

 AROS-Distribution: AROS One 2.7 (x86)
Die auf der AROS-Binärschnittstelle ABI v0 basierende Distribution "AROS One" liegt nun in der Version 2.7 für x86-Rechner vor. Als Downloads stehen eine DVD-ISO-Datei und ein USB-Flash- ("VHD-") Abbild zur Verfügung. Das VHD-Abbild kann als Festplatte in virtuellen Maschinen wie VMware, VirtualBox und QEmu verwendet werden. Ein Archiv, um bestehende Installationen von AROS One 2.6 auf die neueste Ausgabe zu aktualisieren, wird ebenfalls angeboten.

 AROS: Musikprogramm ProTrekkr 2.7.5
ProTrekkr ist ein Tracker-Programm, das einen Software-Synthesizer mit einem traditionellen Samples-Tracker kombiniert. Es kann hauptsächlich zum Erstellen von elektronischer Musik (wie Psytrance, Trance, Goa, Hard Acid, IDM, Chip, Techno, Jungle usw.) für kleine Intros, Demos oder Spiele verwendet werden. Nun wurde die Version 2.7.5 für AROS (und weitere Systeme) veröffentlicht. Änderungen:
  • Sample editor tries to keep loop information intact whenever possible.
  • Synth distortion can now have positive or negative values.
  • Synth ENV 1 & 2 can be directed to drive synth distortion.
  • Synth LVO 1 & 2 can be directed to drive synth distortion as well.
  • Removed broken instruments and presets from distribution.
  • Fixed a couple of bugs here and there.
  • Added replay routine support for AROS.
  • Added global stereo VU meters view for each channel.

George 'walkero' Sokianos hat seine Portierung des SDL-basierten Texteditors Lite XL aktualisiert. Das Update macht die Änderungen aus der offiziellen Lite XL 2.1.6-Veröffentlichung jetzt auch für Amiga-Anwender zugänglich, außerdem basiert die OS4-Umsetzung jetzt auf SDL-Version 2.30.9. (cg)

 Javascript: TAWS - The Amiga Workbench Simulation 0.38
TAWS ("The Amiga Workbench Simulation") ist eine reine Javascript-Simulation der Amiga-Workbench 1.0 - 4.1 FE für Firefox, Opera, Edge und Apple-WebKit-Browser (inkl. Odyssey und Wayfarer). Rückmeldungen jeglicher Art sind dem Autor Michael Rupp jederzeit willkommen. Direkt aus TAWS heraus oder über diesen Link kann seine Arbeit auch mit einer PayPal-Spende bedacht werden.

Die Version 0.38 enthält folgende Neuerungen:
  • Palette:
    • Helle / Dunkle Kanten: Beide werden angewendet bei
      • Listboxen
      • Farbrad-Ränder und deren -Knöpfe
      • Button- und Cycle-Rändern
      • Icon-Rändern
      • Trennlinien
      • Sliderlinien
      • Rahmenlinien
    • Die Textfarbe wird nun auch auf die folgenden Symbole angewendet:
      • Cycle-Symbole
      • Checkbox-Haken
      • Listbox-Pfeile und -Scrollbalken
      • Gadgets-Deaktiviert-Muster
    • Menü-Hintergrund: Endlich lässt sich auch die Menü-Hintergrund-Farbe konfigurieren. Dabei wird das Deaktiviert-Muster dynamisch anhand des gewählten Hintergrunds eingefärbt und die OS 3.2 «NewLook»-Vorgaben wurden entsprechend angepasst.
    • Die Menü-Text-Farbe wird nun auch für die Menü-Kanten angewendet (falls in «MagicMenuPrefs» für «Aussehen» der Wert «Standard» gewählt wurde) und ausserdem auch auf die Symbole des Menüs:
      • Amigataste-Symbole
      • Untermenü-Indikatoren
      • Options-Häkchen
      • Options-Radios
    • Menü Helle / Dunkle Kanten:
      • Die Einträge erscheinen nur, falls in «MagicMenuPrefs» für «Aussehen» der Wert «OS 3.2» gewählt wurde.
      • Sie kommen gemäss der originalen (nicht so ganz intuitiven) Logik von AmigaOS 3.2 zum Zug:
        • «Menü Helle Kanten» und «Menü Hintergrund» dürfen nicht den gleichen Farbindex verwenden. Falls doch, wird für die Kanten analog dem «Standard»-Aussehen die Menü-Text-Farbe verwendet.
        • Damit die Kanten-Farben in der Menü-Screenbar nicht nur für die untere Kante angewendet werden, dürfen «Menü Helle Kanten» und «Menü Dunkle Kanten» nicht den gleichen Farbindex verwenden.
      • Die OS 3.2 «NewLook»-Vorgaben wurden entsprechend angepasst.
    • OS < 3.5: Wird auf einem Color-Button die linke Maustaste gehalten und wegbewegt, so wird der Button anhand der Pointer-X-Position selektiert, egal wo sich der Pointer aktuell befindet. Mit OS >= 3.5 (Reaction) muss er sich über dem Control der Color-Buttons befinden, um eine Selektion auszulösen.
    • Standardfarben abhängig der OS-Version
    • Layout überarbeitet und leicht unterschiedlich je nach OS-Version
    • .prefs-Dateien:
      • Speichern und Laden direkt aus dem Palette-Programm
      • Verwendet ein simples JSON-Format, welches auch einfach in einem Texteditor editiert werden kann.
      • Drag'n'Drop auf die Workbench mit anschliessendem Doppelklick wendet die Farbeinstellungen an.
      • Drag'n'Drop auf das Palette-Programm lädt die Einstellungen in das Programm.
      • Drag'n'Drop einer IFF-ILBM-Datei auf das Palette-Programm lädt dessen Paletten-Werte in das Programm.
      • Unterstützung für die Dateierkennung, falls solche Dateien dynamisch ab dem Server geladen werden (durch die PHP-Scripts).
      • Fehlerbehandlung beim Laden von ungültigen Dateien
    • Bugfixes:
      • Während des Ziehens des Helligkeits-Sliders wurden die Werte der RGB-Slider nicht gesetzt.
      • Wurde auf einem Color-Button die linke Maustaste gehalten, wegbewegt und sonstwo losgelassen, wurde die Farbe nicht gesetzt.
  • MagicMenuPrefs: Anpassungen aufgrund obiger «Palette»-Erweiterungen:
    • Die Vorschau berücksichtgt alle neuen Einstelungen für das Aussehen «OS 3.2»
    • Aussehen «OS 2.0» entfernt, das sich dieses nun direkt durch die neuen «Palette»-Einstellungen abbilden lässt.
  • Menü:
    • Layout komplett überarbeitet, um das Original präziser wiederzuspiegeln.
    • Bei grossen Schriften werden die Symbole mittig ausgerichtet.
    • Das Menü und die Bildschirmleiste überlappen das Workbench-Hintergrundbild nicht mehr.
    • Interne Änderung: Workbenchs Y=0 ist nun direkt unter der Bildschirmleiste und nicht mehr ganz oben.
    • Bugfix: Bei der Verwendung von grossen Schriftarten konnte es vorkommen, dass die Trennlinien nicht korrekt dargestellt wurden.
  • Die Bildschirmleiste im OS 4.x-Aussehen ziert nun einen Rahmen.
  • IBrowse:
    • Automatischer Wechsel von HTTP-Links zu HTTPS, falls TAWS in einer HTTPS-Umgebung läuft.
    • Korrektur des Minimierens, falls ab einem Link aufgerufen und nicht über das IBrowse Programm-Icon.
    • Korrektur des AppIcons beim Minimieren, falls über «Readme.html» gestartet.
  • HippoPlayer:
    • Unterstützung für Shell-Parameter:
      • Datei1 Datei2 ... : Fügt der Wiedergabeliste alle Dateien hinzu und started die Wiedergabe von «Datei1».
      • HIDE: started HiP mit versteckten Fenstern
      • QUIT: schliesst HiP
    • Auf die neuste Version des ScriptProcessorPlayer 1.3.5 von Jürgen Wothke aktualisiert.
    • Falls HiP bereits läuft, wird sein Fenster beim Doppelklick eines Modul-Icons nicht aktiviert (analog HiP 68k).
    • Optimierung des Layouts von deaktivierten Buttons im OS4-Stil.
    • Bugfixes:
      • Drag'n'Drop einer lokalen Playlisten-Datei (.prg) (Bug seit v0.36).
      • Das «Function keys»-Requester blockiert nun das «HippoPrefs»-Fenster und nicht mehr das Hauptfenster.
  • AmigaGuide:
    • Transparenz für IFF-ILBM-Grafiken berücksichtigen
    • Unterstützung für «system»-Aufrufe von «HiP» inkl. Parameter
    • Unterstützung für @onclose "QuitHiP.rexx", um «HiP» beim Schliessen des AmigaGuide-Fensters zu beenden.
    • Bugfixes:
      • Eingebette IFF-ILBM-Grafiken werden auch bei mehrmaligem Öffnen des Dokuments korrekt angezeigt.
      • Escapieren von Commands mittels \ wird nun zuverlässig berücksichtigt.
      • Die Farbe, um Text mittels «text-shadow» fett darzustellen, entspricht nun immer der Textfarbe.
  • OS 4.1:
    • Version angepasst für «Final Edition Update 2»
    • Menüpunkt «Workbench / Herunterfahren ...» implementiert
    • Bildschirmleisten-Text angepasst
  • Clock: Alarm-Fenster-Position:

  • Definiere .torrent-Dateien als herunterladbare Dateien.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Kein Error-Blinken mehr beim Starten von dynamisch geladenen .url-Dateien.
    • OS 4.x: Amiga Early Startup Control erscheint nun wieder (Bug seit v0.37)
    • IFF-ILBM-Grafiken: Korrektur betr. Transparenzfarbe
    • MergeMem: Nach der Bestätigung mittels «Return»-Taste wurde kurz ein «N» sichtbar.
    • ListBox: Nach einem Wechsel des Fenster-Layouts konnte es vorkommen, dass die Grafik des gedrückten Slider-Knopfs noch die des alten Layouts war.
    • Anzeige des Listbox-Scrollbar-Hintergrund-Musters in den Stilen «Dünn» oder «Dünnes XEN»
    • Clock im OS 1.x-Fenster-Layout: Datum ist nun wieder sichtbar (Bug seit v0.36).
    • MultiView: Menüpunkt «Speichern unter ...» aktualisieren nach «Öffnen ...» oder Drag'n'Drop einer lokalen Datei.
    • MultiView: Korrektur der deaktivierten Darstellung des Menüpunkts «Speichern unter ...»
    • MultiView mit Odyssey: «Öffnen ...» schliesst zuerst das Menü bevor die Dateiauswahl erscheint.
    • Odyssey: Anzeige des Standard-Music-Icons für die wichtigsten MOD-Dateitypen, auch wenn diese nicht abgespielt werden können.
    • Firefox: Hintergrund-/Textfarbe von selektiertem Text
    • Beim Drag'n'Drop von mehreren lokaler Dateien in ein Fenster werden die Icons nicht mehr alle übereinander platziert.
    • Horizontales Bildschirm-Ziehen (mit gehaltender Shift-Taste) funktionierte auch mit OS-Versionen < 4.0, was es nicht sollte.
    • RAM-Anzeige in der Bildschirmleiste ohne Dezimalstellen

Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek hat die Version 1.44 seines E-Mail-Programms Iris für MorphOS veröffentlicht. Zu den Neuerungen dieser Version zählen beschleunigtes Herunterladen und Anzeigen von E-Mails, das Antworten und Absagen bei Kalendereinträgen sowie die Möglichkeit, E-Mails grundsätzlich auch als Blindkopie an eine voreingestellte Adresse zu schicken.

Inzwischen steht Version 1.45 zur Verfügung, um einen Memtrash zu beheben, der unter bestimmten Bedingungen auftreten konnte.
