Tool: PlayMOD v1.0 veröffentlicht

Auf der Airsoft Softwair Homepage wurde soeben PlayMOD
veröffentlicht. Bei PlayMOD handelt es sich, wie der Name
schon erahnen lässt, um einen weiteren Abspieler für Protracker
und Noisetracker Module, der allerdings primär dazu gedacht
ist, Module auf Doppelklick des Piktogramms abzuspielen. Außerdem
spielt er auch beliebig große IFF-8SVX Dateien ab, ebenfalls
auch per Doppelklick auf das Piktogramm. PlayMOD ist deshalb
auch eher für die Verwendung auf CD-ROMs mit MODs vorgesehen
und wurde auch schon für die "The Best Of Airsoft Softwair
Gold Edition" CD-ROM verwendet.
Der Player ist schlank, systemfreundlich und läuft wahlweise mit oder
ohne GUI. PlayMOD ist Freeware und steht ab sofort auf der Airsoft
Softwair Homepage (Titellink) zum Download bereit.

DCE: Erste Bilder vom GRex 4000 T
Die ersten Bilder vom GREX 4000T sind nun online. Die Karte hat drei
DMA-fähige PCI-Steckplätze und ist für den A4000T mit Cyberstorm PPC
geeignet. Die Karte ist ab dem 20.9.2001 bei Vesalia Computer verfügbar.

WarpSNES V7.0 released

Ich habe heute WarpSNES V7.0 released. Das Archiv wird im Aminet
und hoffentlich auch bald auf der WarpSNES-Homepage auf

erscheinen.
Neu in dieser Version:
- Anpassung an SNES9x 1.37c, den neuesten SNES9x Source, damit
laufen eine Menge Spiele wesentlich besser
- Auto-Frameskip implementiert
- Soundcode komplett überarbeitet (Danke an Peter Annuss für den
schnelleren Sound-Code :) )

AROS ist ein Open Source-Projekt zur Implementierung einer portablen
Version des AmigaOS V3.1. Lesen Sie im Anschluss, wie das Projekt vorangeht:

credits.
Still not everyone is mentioned but it's better than before :-)
He also fixed the URLs which were broken by the new web site
scripts.
Georg Steger fixed the strange keyboard problems (holding the right
Win key down for a while would suddenly print /'s on the screen).
He also added some printer- and datatype-specific header files.
They are needed in the DataTypes.class. And he fixed a bug in the EOF handling of the console.handler.
Fabio Alemagna improved flushing of Output() and
Error(). The shell will now print the boot and other
messages only when needed. PIPEFS: supports AbortIO()
now. He also added <Ctrl-C>-Handling to a lot of DOS functions
so that they will abort a pending IO if the task receives a signal
while waiting for the IO to complete.
Stefan Berger fixed two bugs in layers and intuition. Child windows
can now be moved with opaque running. He also implemented a helper
function which checks if a layer is the frontmost among the
layers that have the same realtionship to the root layer and another
one which checks if a layer is hidden by any other visible (or invisible)
sibling with the same priority. And he fixed typos in rand48-functions
in c.lib. (ps)

veröffentlicht. Bei LaunchHTML handelt es sich um ein Programm,
welches HTML-Dateien per Doppelklick von der Workbench aus
mit dem Standardbrowser des Amiga-Systems öffnet. Dieser Browser
wird dann über die OpenURL Library angesprochen. LaunchHTML
ist sehr nützlich z.B. für CD-ROMs, da die HTML-Dateien direkt
per Doppelklick auf das Piktogramm geöffnet werden können.
So kam das Programm z.B. auch schon auf der "The Best Of Airsoft
Softwair Gold Edition"-CD-ROM zum Einsatz. LaunchHTML ist
Freeware und kann von der Airsoft Softwair Homepage (Titellink)
heruntergeladen werden.

Der in Gründung befindliche Amiga-Club Deutschland e. V. veranstaltet
einen Logowettbewerb: Gesucht wird ein Logo für den AC-DE, das
unverwechselbar ist, und keine von Amiga Inc. eingetragenen Warenzeichen
enthalten sollte. Das Clublogo im Format 300x80 Pixel sowie mehrere
kleinere Versionen bitte per E-Mail an
logowettbewerb@ac-de.de
schicken.
Mitmachen darf jeder, und etwas zu gewinnen gibt es auch: Der 1.
bekommt 'Descent Freespace' oder 'Payback' (nach Wahl) und der 2.
