Video: AMOS-controlled Quiz Buzzer System
In his latest video series, Robert Smith shows how to build an AMOS-controlled quiz buzzer system based on an Arduino board:
- Part 1 shows how to build a cable version of the simple quiz buzzer system that includes different sound effects for each key pressed.
- Part 2 shows how to build a wireless variant using nRF24L01 modules and Arduinos.
- Part 3 updates the wireless variant so that the controller can be connected to an Amiga and a simple quiz system can be run with AMOS. The AMOS quiz system communicates with the controller via the serial port and uses some form of interrupts ("every") to maintain communication.

MorphOS: Web browser Wayfarer 3.9
Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek has released version 3.9 of his Wayfarer web browser for MorphOS, which mainly includes changes for media playback. Matthias "UltraGelb" Böcker wrote: "'Lupe' continously magnifies an area of the screen and displays it in a window. The window can be resized and the scalefactor can be dynamically changed. Per default Lupe follows the mouse pointer and magnifies the area sourrounding the pointer, but it is also possible to have it magnify a freely setable fixed area. It can show colour values of the current pixel under the mouse pointer and also its coordinates. Additionally a grid can be enabled. Furthermore it can save the current window contents as IFF or PNG image."

AmiTube 1.1: YouTube client for all Amiga systems
Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow's AmiTube enables watching YouTube videos on an 68k Amiga. They are converted to Commodore's CDXL format and downloaded.
With version 1.1 released today, the 'Fancy List' introduced a few days ago is integrated into the program: a new list function where title, description and thumbnail are displayed directly in the list (amiga-news.de reported).
