Digital Almanac III - Amithlon
Thanks to Harald Frank it was possible to present DA III running on "Amithlon" on the event which took place last Friday in Mutterstadt, Germany. There was greate positive responsiveness to that presentation. Calculation speed did not rank behind comparable PC programs. So, the only planetarium program left for the Amiga also runs under Amithlon without problems. (ps) (Translation: mj)

OSNews: Interview with Carl Sassenrath about REBOL (Update)
You will find a complete interview with Carl Sassenrath about REBOL under the title link. It especially has an eye on the possibilities that REBOL/IOS will give X-Internet ('executable' Internet), and the chances of REBOL in the market against .NET and other systems.

The interview was held by Eugenia Loli-Queru.

REBOL is a platform overlapping sytem from Carl Sassenrath (Amiga-Exec), that was released first in November 1997. The REBOL language lets you use the Internet easily including coding of CGI-scripts and the easy design of GUIs. (ps) (Translation: gf)

The Amiga Alternative Audio Page

MPEG-Audio-Player: MAD for 68040 and MorphOS
Today we have a brand new port-release for you .. madplay, the best mpeg-audio player out there .. this will make a nice complement to the LAME encoder... The archive comes with binaries for 68040 and MorphOS... Please read the included amiga.readme for special instructions on usage!

From the MAD README:

MAD has the following special features:

  • 24-bit PCM output
  • 100% fixed-point (integer) computation
  • completely new implementation based on the ISO/IEC standards
  • distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL)
Because MAD provides full 24-bit PCM output, applications using MAD are able to produce high quality audio. Even when the output device supports only 16-bit PCM, applications can use the extra resolution to increase the audible dynamic range through the use of dithering or noise shaping.

Because MAD uses integer computation rather than floating point, it is well suited for architectures without a floating point unit. All calculations are performed with a 32-bit fixed-point integer representation.

Because MAD is a new implementation of the ISO/IEC standards, it is unencumbered by the errors and copyrights of other implementations. MAD is NOT a derivation of the ISO reference source or any other code. Considerable effort has been expended to ensure a correct implementation, even in cases where the standards are ambiguous or misleading.

Nova Design, Inc. Releases ImageFX 4.5
Nova Design, Inc. Releases ImageFX 4.5
Richmond, VA - Nova Design announced the immediate availability of the latest upgrade to ImageFX 4.5. This release adds even more features to one of the industries most powerful image editing and special effects package and the top package for the Amiga.

Nova Design has been a long-time supporter of the Amiga platform. Their software packages include ImageFX, Aladdin 4D - a 3D modeling, rendering and animation package, Millennium - the ultimate upgrade for Newtek's Toaster and Toaster/Flyer, and Cinematte - a blue-screening plugin for both Photoshop and Aura.

New Painting Features
The painting tools have been improved with the addition of several new Drawmodes. These Drawmodes allow a new range of compositing so you can composite brushes into your images will all the same tools that the composite tool offers you for full image compositing. When combined with the Drawstyles, which control where your pixels come from when using brushes, you have literally thousands of possible drawing options and combinations!

New Animation Features
ImageFX 4.0 introduced the concept of being able to load an animation and work on individual frames just like you would a layered still image document. ImageFX 4.5 takes this much further with the all-new Keyframe Manager.

The Keyframe Manager allows you to combine images, animations, or animbrushes onto any animation you have loaded. You can completely control the path of these images or animations by specifying precise positions at individual keyframes at any point in the animation. You can do this with single point keys, two point keys, or four point keys. You can scale during single point animations, use two points to make easy 'squash and stretch' cartoony effects, or use four points flip points around to make '3D' flying logos and other simulated perspective tricks. With a little artistic talent it's not hard to track something in an existing animation and add a new effect on it or replace it with something new.

The Keyframe Manager can also process simple scripts without bothering with compositing images or animations. You can track lightning into a scene or have a wizard cast a glowing light with a lens flare. The possibilities are enormous!

Ordering
Just call 1-800-IMAGE-69 or (804) 282-1157, fax (804) 282-3768 to order. (ps)

Amiga Exotica (ANF)

Amiga Exotica Update
This section provides complete unmodified rips with full credits for all Amiga game sound tracks regardless of format. Unlike other collections available elsewhere on the internet, UnExoticA's archive hasn't been defaced with rip credits, which often replace comments left by the original composer.

Huge thanks to all the people who have worked hard to make this section. Full credits for the area can be read on its Main Page. At the time of writing the area contains 3440 files packed into 615 archives. That's 269 different composers! Uncompressed there is currently 212 Megabytes of music! (ps) (Translation: sk)

Database: MySqld V4.0.0 (Alpha)
On 18. October 2001 version 4.0.0 of the MySqld archive for Amigas with 68040 CPU was released on the 'Da SixK Port Page'.

Version 4 is about a definite enhanced version of this databench allowing to implement previously missing features like requests within requests.

This version was not entirely tested by the MySQL team yet, what makes it alpha status.

As a first new feature one can test union-queries, which work good.

With 'InnoDb' a new format was added, but which does not work in the Amiga version yet and therefore is disabled in the startmysqld script. Who is able to find a way to use this feature on the Amiga might contact sixk@ifrance.com.

Who would like to use special fonts, just have a look at the startmysqld script and the mysql:languages/charsets/ directory.

More information about the MySQL version 4.0.0 released on 15. October are to find at www.mysql.com.

Tales of Tamar: Videos of the LARP I, the Ankou band
Around the 22nd of September the first LARP for 'Tales of Tamar' took place. Now, on the 19th of October a video of that meeting was published showing the beautifull landscape of the LARP area, some battles, the live in the tavern, and much more.

The video was done by Virtual Dimension, they made it up from several tapes. From their server the video is available for download in MPEG format at three different sizes.

On the LARP evenings an medieval band called 'Ankou' made music plenteously and thus cared for the proper ambience. Special was that the bard of the band made it to sing free-style for seven minutes. This piece of music was ripped off the video and is available for download as MP3 on the Tamar servers. (sd) (Translation: mj)

There were some highlights to sight on the Pianeta Amiga 2001. Haage&Partner presented AmigaOS XL running on an 1.4GHz Athlon. The Amiga software compatibility is said to be very good. For example there were MooVID playing two movies in two windows at the same time.

VirtualWorks showed both of the new PCI solutions G-REX4000D and Mediator 4000 PCI in a show-case, but not working.

An absolute innovation was presented at the booth of Titan Computer where one was able to gaze at Candy Factory Pro running on the Pegasos system by bplan GmbH with MorphOS version 0.8.

Furthermore a new Italian print magazine called Bitplane and done by Nicola Morcutti was presented. This magazine is planned to be published bimonthly including a CD and will be available to subscribers only.

Other exhibitors are Darkage Software, Digital Equipment, AGI, Il Piccolo Emporio, and Mirko Cipolla (CIP060) who presented an A1200 with MediatorPCI, Voodoo, SoundBlaster, and TV card. (ps) (Translation: mj)

amiga-topcool is back
After a longer period of "thinking" the Amiga print magazine makes its presence felt again: colored and round. That means, from the autumn issue on will the amiga-topcool be released as CD-ROM rather than a print magazine. This can be expected by the subscribers:

  • A colored layout that's orientated along the print layout but readable in HTML format.
  • More pages as we aren't depending on printing costs anymore.
  • The possibility to advertise one's Amiga club to the max - 10 MB memory is space available for free for every Amiga club.
  • The latest PD software as well as demo versions.
How many times the amiga-topcool will be issued in the future depends on the drive of the number of free-lance worker that will hopefully grow in the future. The CD will be subdivided as follows:
  • 10 HTML pages up-to-date (interviews, ticker, press releases)
  • 10 HTML pages application (previews, news, reviews, topic)
  • 10 HTML pages game and fun (previews, news, reviews, Classic reviews, cheats)
  • 10 HTML pages community (Amiga club list - with 10 MB memory space per club, retailer list - with web appearances on CD, readers reactions, etc.)
  • software (PD, demos, maybe commercial full versions, too)
Further information will follow in the next days on our Internet site that will get a new look, too. The price of the CD is 10,- DM (including packing). (ps) (Translation: wk)

Full text Aminet search engine in alpha test
Some hours ago I've completed a somewhat finished version of my Aminet full text search engine. For now you find it on my local Amiga 4000 under the URL http://213.196.87.182/ (title link).

Full text means that the appr. 100 MB of the 70000 readme files will be searched through, too. Normally these search request need less than 2 seconds to be answered.

I'd like you to test it and give me suggestions for improvements asap. Happy alpha testing! (ps) (Translation: wk)

Event: World of Amiga South East
So are we! On Saturday 3rd of November 2001 the World of Amiga Southeast show is taking place at Poplars Hall, Shenfield, Essex, UK.
This is the ideal opportunity for you to come along and show all those who that think the Amiga market is dead where they can shove it!

We have worked tirelessly to bring you some of the biggest names in the Amiga Industry to World of Amiga Southeast 2001

Amiga, Elbox, Eyetech, Cloanto, & Pagan Games are amongst those who are attending the show ready to see in the new era of Amiga Computing with the eminent launch of the AmigaOne/SharkPPC Zico Spec Machines and beyond. James Daniels, Paul Burkey and Fleecy Moss are just some of the Amiga Celebes will be in attendance at WoA Southeast.

However, all our hard work will be for nothing if we have a poor turnout.

We need every one to come along and show the world that we want an alternative to the dull and bloated OS that has afflicted the masses in the computing world.
Sick and tired of all the doom and gloom in the Amiga market?
In short we want a new Amiga, and just because an Amiga Magazine shuts down, it doesn't mean that the existing Amiga dealers have suddenly ceased to exist or have gone elsewhere.
So turn up to WOA Southeast and support Amiga, Fore-Matt Home Computing, Weird Science, Stellar Dreams, Elbox, Clubbed Magazine, Cloanto, Eyetech, 100%Amiga, VP, and many more by coming along on the day.
Many retailers need shows like WoA Southeast to keep their commitment and businesses going until the next generation Amiga takes off.

Let's make the doom mongers eat a big shitcake, turn up and do us proud!

For more details on advance ticket ordering, full list of exhibitors, discussion forums and how to get there please visit http://www.worldofamiga.com

Print magazine: Amiga Active Magazine Announces Major Changes
Fri 19 Oct Amiga Active Magazine Announces Major Changes
Amiga Active, the world's leading Amiga magazine, is undergoing significant changes to meet the challenges of a changed marketplace. With the first consumer version of the next generation Amiga environment, the AmigaDE player, finally available to the public, Amiga have stepped into the future, and Amiga Active magazine is following suit.

Issue 26 of Amiga Active magazine will be released on the 25th of October. This issue will contain the normal mix of forward-looking and "Classic Amiga" content, including the most detailed preview of the Amiga DE to date, revealing for the first time much of what is actually going into the next-generation Operating Environment which Amiga are building on top of the binary-portable intent JTE (Java Technology Edition) multimedia engine from Tao Group. This will be the last time that Amiga's journey into the next generation will be a matter of previews and predictions. The next generation has arrived.

Amiga Active has been preparing for this from the very beginning. Since the very first issue we have been covering the revolution taking place in computing, and over recent months our coverage has increased through our ever-expanding "Next Generation" section. We are now taking the magazine itself into the next stage with a change in focus, and a change in name - to digital.

Zeoneo website launched
The Zeoneo website is now online with details of its two new releases for AmigaDE: Convex and Planet Zed.

Until now, Zeoneo was a company that relatively few people knew about. Indeed, it may suprise many people to know that we have been working behind the scenes for well over a year now. In that time, experience and understanding of the systems that make up AmigaDE has been gained and used to develop our first two PDA-targetted titles.

Convex is an addictive puzzle game where the objective of each of the 25 levels is to remove all the marbles.

Planet Zed is a vertical scroll shoot 'em up game that borrows many of its features from the classic Bitmap Brothers game Xenon2.

Further information and screenshots of these products is available on the website. www.zeoneo.com (ps) (Translation: rh)

Sharp announces developer version of their SL5000 PDA for November
Sharp has announced the developer version of their SL5000 PDAs for November
In the article at the title link there is some concrete information about the operating system of the PDA for the first time. The PDA will use besides the already known Embedix Linux kernel by Lineo Qt embedded and the QT Palmtop Environment by Trolltech as well as the browser Opera. Further, a Java VM is integrated.

The article does not mention who provides the JVM. Probably TAO's Java VM won't be used but rather the Jeode Java VM by Insignia, at least this is mentioned on the Sharp developer page for the PDA. Then the Sharp PDA would use the system of the partners Lineo - Trolltech - Insignia - Opera already announced on the Lineo page.

DCE: GREX 4000D shipping from today
From today the GREX 4000D is in stock and available. Today the first boards have been delivered to our distributor Vesalia Computer. The boards also are being offered by Virtualworks on the Pianeta 2001 in Empoli, Italy. Moreover we have created a new driver pack for free use (download: grexdriver2_2.lzh).

To make our board PCI compatible with the Pegasos board the CyberPCI library version 2.2 is available now (download: flash_20011012.lha). This new flash for the first time enables Voodoo3 users to display the 15KHz start screen directly on the Voodoo card after system start. For this new graphic boards drivers and new 68060 libraries are required and made available (download: GREX68K_libraryV2_2.lha).

Also new is the graphic board driver for the SIS 6326 VGA card supporting both of the RAM variants of this card. For sound support we are offering drivers for the approved Terratec sound cards PCI 128 and PCI 512. Compatible cards with the chip sets ESS SOLO ONE (PCI 128) as well as Fortem edia 801 (PCI 512) can be used, too. Both of the drivers support use with AHI. All of the drivers will be available for download from tomorrow. (ps) (Translation: mj)

Elbox: TV as background
Elbox Computer is pleased to inform that Amiga with the Mediator busboard is from now on the first hardware, in which displaying the actual and moving at full speed real TV broadcasting picture in the backdrop has become possible.

Mediator PCI is now the only PCI busboard for Amiga, whose users may use TV cards. Apart from this fact, Mediator PCI is also a pathfinder for new quality standards in the way PCI TV cards are used in computers.

Displaying the full-quality TV picture with absolutely 100% system performance maintained (irrespective whether you use a turbo card with PPC/68060 or with 68030) is now possible with the special method of storing code for the video capturing processor.

The fast SDRAM/SGRAM memory of graphic cards, to which the TV card sends the digitalised television picture is used in Mediator PCI also to store program for the TV-card video and audio capture processor. This means that none of the operations related to generating the picture requires any operation outside the PCI bus.

Therefore, performance of TV cards is significantly enhanced when compared against other computers with PCI TV cards, in which the video capture processors must take their code from the computer's main memory.

Inventing this method of co-operation between TV cards and graphic cards has become possible due to the effort of our in-house team of programmers, who have written drivers for both graphic and TV cards.

Software for TV cards for Mediator, which now supports as many as 50 of the most popular PCI TV cards, enables a series of different methods of displaying television image.

The basic method is to display the image in the window of the pre-set size from the range of 96x72 to 768x576. Any size of window may be freely scalable at any time. Scaling the TV picture is executed in real time with the PCI graphic card's hardware.

When the TV image is displayed as a backdrop, the user may freely define the colour, which will be automatically replaced by the graphic card with the moving television image.

The enclosed screenshots show television picture samples in Amiga with Mediator PCI.

Software for TV cards in Mediator enables a number of other additional functions, which the TV card may perform.

For example: managing the radio tuner integrated with the card or using the TV card as a scandoubler / flickerfixer for displaying the AGA-generated image in the PCI graphic card screen.

The software to enable operation of any supported TV card in the backdrop mode will be made available today to all the registered users of the Mediator Multimedia CD package as an update, free of any charge.

Draco: Interest in PPC and Grafikkarte?
Alex Goedert wrote:

Hello!

I am currently making some inquiries about how much you out there are interested in a new fast, high-resolution graphic board and/or a faster CPU-addon-card with a UW-SCSI controller for the DRACO-system.

A hardware developer must have some strong evidences that his developments will be bought after the release. I think that everyone knows that such a development is expensive and time consuming.

I would like to please everyone who is interested in these devices to mail me.

Please do not discuss if it is worth it.

Furthermore the follwing would be a great help:
  • wiring of the DRACO-tower or DRACO-cube
  • Volunteers that make theire DRACO-systems available for hardware-development
  • People able to give some programming aid

Thanks a lot

Aaron Digulla (AROS-Announce-ML)

AROS: Status report (MorphOS, Amithlon, H&P, Amiga)
On the 9th of October 2001 Aaron Digulla, AROS, has published the following status report of AROS (which is an open source project for implementing of a portable, AmigaOS-compatible operating system) on the AROS-announce-mailinglist:

«Hello,

A long time since the last update but I can proudly reply that I keep the web site uptodate, now :-)

Here is a short roundup what has happened since the last update:

Parts of AROS are used in the MorphOS product. MorphOS gets some shared libraries which they need and we get patches to make Amiga software work :-) Two members of the MorphOS team, namely Nicholai Benalal and Emmanuel Lesueur have CVS write access and they have started to submit patches. All in all, a very good deal on both sides :-)

Amithlon (Harald Frank) has also asked if they can use our sources and we gave them the same deal that MorphOS got. Still, no patches on this side. As I see it, Harald and Bernie are drowning in work :-) Good luck to them !

Neither H&P nor Amiga have asked to use our source in any of their products. I expect them to know what they do. The times when I tried to "enlighten" others are in the past :-) Good luck to them, also.

On the AROS side, I can say that we have achieved a lot ! At the time of writing, the AROS CVS repository is 66MB and the contributed sources are 90MB. Commits are very frequent (in the last few weeks, there was almost no day when no one committed some of their work), so AROS is more healthy than ever.

And the range of software which we have is also quite impressive: We have ported the version of DOpus which you can find on Aminet (yeah, that's old). We have Radium (http://www.notam.uio.no/~kjetism/radium/), a note editor which can also play the songs you edit with it. We have a CDROM driver, the editor XDME (which was written by me) was ported last Sunday in about 8h of work (mostly fixing ghastly code which DICE did compile for reasons unbeknownst to me ;-) and Python (http://www.python.org/), the first programming language for AROS. We also have a couple of prefs programs (Font, Locale, ReqTools, Serial) now.

While AROS still lacks a lot of things and a lot of code is, well, doing only a fraction of what the original AmigaOS can do, it's still impressive to see how far we did get and that gives me a very good feeling what I look into the future. AROS Native/x86 is getting more and more stable and when a bug in the trackdisk.device is fixed (it's *very* slow) and a feature is implemented (it doesn't support the diskchange signal, yet, so you cannot run the demos on the contrib floppy disks), you won't only be able to boot into an AmigaOS-like system on your PC but you will at least be able to edit some prefs, save them to disk and write some texts with XDME.

Our now home might lack fancy colors and designer chairs but it certainly begins to feel like Amiga :-)

Have fun !» (sd) (Translation: dr)

AROS: Floppies (FAQ), XDME, Python, FPU-Bug
Aron Digulla extended the AROS-FAQ with entries about the use of floppy drives in UAE and AROS as well information about the IRC channell for AROS. Furthermore he has started to port the editor 'XDME' which was almost finished. 'XDME' gets compiled and linked successfully - but crashes after it was launched. This would be fixed soon.

Thanks to Kjetil Svalastog Matheussen Radium is now playing.

Adam Chodorowski corrected the installation of Python (programming language). The runtime modules were not copied.

Georg Steger corrected the long existing FPU bug. The FPU wasn't initialized correctly and task switching between FPU and non-FPU tasks could crash AROS. There also was a certain error in the routine for removing a task. Steger added the missing character modes in graphics.hidd. The private field 'initialfont' of the IntWindow structure was removed (that's what IFont in the Window structure is for). Notification between slider and list-view gadget is more secure now. Registering via the Amiga Arena can be done by filling in the survey form at the 'Aktionen' area .

Note: Owners of AmiATLAS 5 might have even cheaper update possibilities since negotiations were not finished, yet.

When the Amiga Arena made possible version 2.0 to be released for free further development of AmiATLAS was not really sure to be done.

Thanks to good cooperation of Adreas R. (Innovative Software Solutions) and the Amiga Arena it was possible to find Gerd F. to take the task of further development of AmiATLAS

The more I'm happy about the AmiATLAS development team to able to present version 6 before long.

By this I would like to make you aware that WE (developers, users meaning Amiga users!) with a bit personal initiative are able to move many a things.

Feedback of any kind is very important to all developers. This issue should not be underestimated.

The Amiga Arena wishes the AmiATLAs development team much success and hopes that the users will take this project.

Elbox: Warp3D running on Voodoo3, 4 and 5 in Mediator
Elbox Computer is humbly informing all the Amiga fans that Warp3D Voodoo drivers for Mediator PCI busboards are on the release now.

Warp3D drivers prepared by Hyperion Entertainment for Mediator PCI busboards work flawlessly on PPC & 68k processors with the following graphic cards:

- Voodoo3 2000/3000,
- Voodoo4 4500,
- Voodoo5 5500.

Warp3D Voodoo drivers are now included in the software package bundled with all the Mediator PCI busboards.

For all the registered users of Mediator PCI busboards Warp3D Voodoo drivers are available free of charge directly and exclusively from Elbox Computer.

Update:
Because of the different comments we have contacted Hyperion and asked for an official statement that was sent to us just now by Hans-Jörg Frieden via email.

Here the official comment of the Warp3D team:

First some facts:
  • No member of the Warp3D team owns a Voodoo 4/5.
  • We don't have any documentation about it.
  • There were never talks about support for Voodoo 4/5. The drivers in their current form, no matter whether for Prometheus, G-REX or Mediator, was designed for a Voodoo3/Avenger and are functionally identical.
In general it can't be excluded that the Avenger driver works with other chips of the Voodoo family. This includes the Banshee as well as the Napalm (VSA-100 of the V4/5). But it is out of question to take on support or guarantee for the operation in any way. Should it really work (that couldn't be tested by now) then it is pure chance. And it doesn't need to work with all existing boards or revisions of the chips.

Should it come out that the drivers really work with the Napalm chips it will probably count the same for the Prometheus as well as the G-REX busboards.

But: neither Hyperion Entertainment nor the Warp3D team can guarantee in any way the operating of the drivers with any Napalm based graphics board. As far as we are concerned we do only deliver support for Voodoo 3.

Ciao,

Michael Burkhardt: Farewell to Hof
Michael Burkhardt, known to many Amiga users by his company IOM Messefilme and the Amiga controlled video wall on exhibitions, wrote:

» Dear friends,
now it is official: I change from my lackluster autonomy to an employment.

Already on Monday I'll move to Berlin 300 km from here, take a furnished apartment and work for the D.A.V.I.D. GmbH from Tuesday on.

This decision was a hard step for me and required a great effort. Especially the last months when a management consultant was helpfully by my side showed that it would be much better to live and work in a real Media town.

But to move my company would never have been to put through. I never would have taken this enormous risk. The more happy I was to have found a job now in the media industry.

At the D.A.V.I.D. GmbH I'll ensure as project engineer planning, technical support, and network installations for radio stations. This software house is specialized in applications for radio broadcasting. More details about the company can be found at www.david-gmbh.de.

I would like to thank all those who have helped me in my period of autonomy. Of course the company IOM will continue to exist, but I personally won't have the chance to deal with the management as my new job requires 100% of my time.

Particularly during the beginning it will become very stressful and it likely will be hard to contact me. Of course my e-mail address, my mobile phone number (0171-3296371), and my ICQ will remain the same, but surely I won't be able to answer immediately in the beginning, however.

In any case thanks to all people who always supported me in continuing my company. Of course I'm at your disposal for questions during this weekend.

Instant Messenger: CIM Update for IP-NAT Version 1.04ext
CIM now also works when using an IP-NAT router. Besides that many GUI improvements had been done. Data transfer is now possible.

CIM is a messaging utility developed by Marius 'Cyborg' Schwarz on the basis of the small ICMP demo on the ASP (Amiga Security Page). PGP is already integrated.

MrMarco (www.highantdev.de) has kindly made 'Traffic' available on his server. With this everything for a network similar to ICQ is given. Everybody who wants can log in. The program has been tested on several Amigas and runs stable. The installation is extremly easy, so no installation script is needed. (ps) (Translation: wk)

Database: After a long time a new version of MUIbase published
After one year of a break of development there is a new version of MUIbase again which is v1.6. MUIbase is a relationale database with several datatypes and trigger-functions. The Amiga-magazine assesses MUIbase 1.2 on issue 11/99 with 87%.

The MUIbase-homepage has moved to http://www.muibase.de/ because amigaworld.com the provider till now do not work just fine. You can access the old site over http://old.muibase.de/ but which will be not updated any longer. Bit there you can still find old examples and some hints. On the new site download and registration works as usually but if there should be displaying faults then please say it to me because presently I have not an entirely working Amiga and I have no time for reinstalling. Bugfixes, ARexx-support and transactions as you know of other databases have been added. (ps) (Translation: dr)

Wanted: AmigaFFE-Web-Updater
Michael Asse wrote:
Hello,
because presently I have limited access to the Internet I am looking for an updater for my website concerning the AmigaFFE-project who might take care of updating the website.
Mainly you might have to do copy/paste tasks and not to take care of the design of the site or project itself.

I would send you mails which contain the site and the according changes as long as I got a better access to the Internet.

If anyone would be interested in it then simply send me a mail.

In addition to it I am still always looking for some interested people for the port of the game Elite-The New Kind. I have an unfinished version here which we might have to get to an end. Thanks a lot! (ps) (Translation: dr)
